The blue cornflower is an absolute classic of our fields and meadows, which probably needs no lengthy introduction. However, the 'Tall Double Blue Boy' variety brings something extra. Compared to its wild relatives that we see along roads, it boasts rich flowers in an unmistakable, deep blue shade, sometimes with a purple tone. You can hardly imagine anything more meadow-like. Thanks to its strong stems growing up to eighty centimeters tall, this annual is perfectly suited for cutting, adding true rustic charm to bouquets. But its use doesn't end in the vase. The flowers keep their fantastic color even after drying! At weddings, we loved using them in flower crowns and corsages, where they have excellent stamina! The petals are edible. They serve perfectly as an original garnish for summer salads, desserts, or festive cakes. Moreover, in the garden, it functions as a reliable magnet for bees and bumblebees, who simply go crazy for its nectar.

The best-selling cut Zinnia ever! But the main thing is the color! Antique wine fading into antique pink. The Queen Lime series is our favorite Zinnia; it's love at first sight! The flowers are large, up to 10 cm, surrounded by many petals, giving a double-flowered appearance. Moving towards the center, the petals get smaller and end up unopened at the center, creating a frosted cupcake effect. No other Zinnia compares!

While common cosmos mainly offer a white and deep pink palette, 'Apricotta' brings a completely new and fresh color tone to the flowerbeds. It is a unique combination of light pink and the lightest salmon, which looks incredibly tender and original. Saponaria vaccaria, or cow soapwort 'Pink Beauty', is a reliable annual that brings a romantic and airy element to summer flower beds. It easily makes up for its unconventional name with a rich profusion of tiny, pastel-pink flowers that bring a sense of lightness to the garden. These appear on sturdy stems sixty to ninety centimeters tall during the summer months, from June to September. The delicate flowers not only look beautiful and soften the surrounding plantings, but they also act as a magnet for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, which will naturally enliven your garden. For healthy growth, cow soapwort appreciates a bright location, but it can grow in light shade without any problems. It looks very elegant in the garden, and thanks to its structure—reminiscent of baby's breath—it combines perfectly with more robust types of flowers, for which it makes a delicate background. You can confidently cut three to four richly branched stems from each plant. They will bring great joy even if you simply place them in small vases in your living room. Cow soapwort grows and blooms very quickly from seeds, which in practice means that it also fades a bit faster. If you want to enjoy its delicate pink flowers in the bed and in the vase for as long as possible, it is worth sowing the seeds in stages. You can perform direct sowing from February to May in several consecutive phases. Even complete beginners can thus have fresh cut flowers available throughout the season.

While in the wild you are more likely to encounter simpler blue forms, the 'Tall Double Pinkie' variety will surprise you with rich, full flowers in a vibrant shade of light baby pink. These beautiful heads appear on the plants from June to August, bringing a wonderful sense of lightness to every flower bed. In the garden, this annual, which reaches up to eighty centimeters in height, will become a favorite destination for bees and butterflies that will happily search for food on it. In addition to great revitalization of any country space, it is also fantastic material for home floristry. The sturdy stems are easy to cut for a vase, the flowers hold their saturated color for a long time when dried, and you can also safely decorate your culinary creations with them. Sowing the seeds is easily managed even by a complete beginner; just gently press them into prepared soil in early spring or late summer.

Zinnia 'Cresto Peachy Pink' brings a refreshing palette of colors full of cool tones to summer flower beds. Growing this charming annual from seeds is ideal even for complete beginners. The seeds are sown directly into the flower bed during May and June, as soon as the danger of frost has passed. The 'Cresto' series is characterized by fully double, scabiosa-flowered types that catch the eye with their unconventional shape and fluffy centers. Compared to the 'Peaches & Cream' variety, this variant offers cooler shades of pink, from pastel to deep bubblegum, with delicate touches of tangerine and apricot. The plants grow to a height of sixty to ninety centimeters, and occasional pinching will benefit them with richer branching. In the garden, they form beautiful combinations with delicate ornamental grasses or other annuals in similar tones. Zinnia also acts as a reliable magnet for bees, bumblebees, and butterflies. Long, sturdy stems, which sometimes benefit from light support, make this flower the perfect material for cutting. The colorful flowers last for many days in a vase and will enliven any summer interior.

Sunflower comes from the sunny plains of North America and is an inseparable part of our gardens as a symbol of summer. The 'ProCut White Lite' variety brings a pleasant refreshment to the yellow assortment in the form of creamy light yellow flowers with an attractive greenish-yellow center. This is a reliable single-stem annual from a professional series bred specifically for floral purposes. It does not produce pollen, so you can use it in interior decorations without worrying about allergies. In the garden, it grows to a height of eighty to one hundred and twenty centimeters. The path to your own flowers begins with seeds, which are easy to work with and provide quick results. Ideally, start the sunflower seeds by pre-growing them in the warmth for one to two weeks. Covered seeds will germinate in five to ten days. Then, transplant them into sun or partial shade. You can repeat sowings from April to August, which will cause them to bloom gradually from July to autumn. Do not pinch the plants, but provide support for straight stems. Fresh flowers last a long time in a vase and will delight lovers of clean bouquets.

It is hard to imagine anything more rustic. The 'Tall Double Black Boy' variety is a much fuller-flowered Cornflower than the one we commonly see along roadsides and hedgerows. It is a truly extraordinary piece, with a color that transitions from dark burgundy and plum to almost black. It grows to a height of sixty to eighty centimeters, so it appreciates support in the flower bed to prevent its thin stems from breaking. Seeds from spring or autumn sowings germinate very readily within five to ten days. It is best to sow them directly in a sunny or semi-shaded location. The flowers appear in the summer months from June to August and become a huge attraction for bees, bumblebees, and butterflies. You will appreciate the Cornflower in naturalistic gardens alongside other annuals. It is absolutely great for cutting into vases, and its flowers also retain their shape and color when dried. If you like trying new things in the kitchen, you will be pleased to know that these dark flowers are edible and will beautifully brighten up summer salads or desserts.

Delphinium consolida, known better as Larkspur, is a typical annual for both country and modern gardens. The 'QIS White' cultivar stands out with pure white flowers that densely cover long, straight stems. These can grow up to one hundred and twenty centimeters in height, creating an interesting layer in the flower bed and adding airiness to the space. The pure white color acts as a great neutral element that easily connects even very colorful flowers in the vicinity. These are wonderful spring beauties that are hard to beat at the turn of spring and summer. They are very easy to grow from seeds and pose no major challenge for beginners. In floristry, they are suitable for wedding bouquets and for drying. For a perfect cut, you must be quick and harvest the stems before all the buds have fully opened. We recommend sowing the seeds gradually at two-week intervals during the spring or at the end of summer so you can enjoy the beauty of these flowers for as long as possible.

Cosmos 'Rosetta' is one of our favorite annuals. Its shape resembles a large daisy, but its flowers shine in shades of dark and light pink that look like they were painted with delicate brushstrokes. It originates naturally from the sunny regions of America, and here, it thrives best in a bright location. As it is a low-maintenance plant, growing it from seeds is easy even for beginners. You can sow the seeds indoors on a windowsill starting in April, or directly into a spot in the flower bed from May to July. Germination takes only a few days. It grows to a height of about one meter, forms beautifully sturdy stems, and blooms from June until October, constantly attracting bees and butterflies. In the garden, it is an excellent addition to mixed borders. If you enjoy creating bouquets, 'Rosetta' will thrill you as a cut flower. From a single plant, you will gradually get at least twelve strong stems for the vase.

A smaller zinnia is very practical! And the Oklahoma series has flowers 4-5 cm large and fits perfectly even into smaller floristry tasks such as wreaths. Shades of darker and lighter salmon. One plant produces at least 10 flowers.

Larkspurs are spring beauties that are unmatched. But if you want to harvest them for cut flowers, you must be vigilant and harvest quickly before all buds open. Especially in the warm springs of recent years, they bloom quickly, so we sow several batches 14 days apart just to keep up with the harvest. Larkspur QIS Rose is an unusual shade of darker warm pink, fitting beautifully in combination with orange. From one plant you will harvest one thicker stem and 4-5 smaller side ones.

A wonderful combination of warm pink, blush, and skin tones! A novelty of this year. The Cresto series has mostly double flowers, of the scabiosa type. Compared to the Peachy Pink variant, this is a warm pink.

Cosmos 'Apricot Lemonade' brings a novel palette of colors to summer gardens and is easy to grow from seed, even if you are a complete beginner. While these annuals were previously known mostly in white and pink, this cultivar surprises with delicate pastel tones of peach, yellow, and powder pink. It won us over immediately and has become an indispensable part of our flower plantings. The plant forms dense clumps with typical linear leaves and grows quite tall, so it benefits from support in the flower bed. From early summer until October, it is covered in a profusion of gentle flowers that soften every space and provide food for beneficial pollinators. If you like creating your own bouquets, you will be thrilled, as they look absolutely magical in a vase. The ideal time for sowing begins in April with indoor starting, or you can sow directly in a sunny spot from May to July.

Pale pink, delicate lace. Didiscus has a strange name, but it is a great beauty similar to Ammi or ornamental carrot. Flowers are disc-shaped with tiny florets. Didiscus finishes blooming faster, similar to Ammi or ornamental carrot, so we recommend multiple successional sowings. It likes warmth, so it can be sown even in summer.

Velouette is the cousin of the Cosmos Rubenza. A wine shade is common to them, only this piece has white brush strokes on the petals. The beautiful thing is that every flower is different—on one you will find more white, on another, it is the opposite.

A garden classic, and Cornflowers of the Classic series are real troopers! Strong, straight stems ensure excellent cut flower quality. And the Classic Fantastic color combination reminds us of traditional Czech blueprint fabric. Shades transition from sky blue to the darkest blue. Flower centers are colored differently than the edges.

Our favorite foliage and filler. It grows beautifully and binds famously! The flowers are yellowish, so they don't color-match every bouquet, but we still never have enough of it! And after flowering, tiny seed pods form which are also beautifully decorative and don't wilt; we love collecting those too.

An evergreen favorite at the flower market! Sea Holly is a perennial; it lasts for several years in the flowerbed and spreads beautifully. The "flowers" and leaves are slightly prickly; it does look like a miniature thistle after all. The stems and tops are silvery blue. And mature, bloomed Sea Holly doesn't wilt, making it great for drying, wreaths, and similar uses. For drying, harvest when the thistles are colored blue and the stem below the thistle is firm. Just hang them upside down in a dry, ventilated place, out of sunlight.

Although correctly it is the Chinese hound's tongue, on the farm we don't call it anything other than forget-me-not! Unlike the classic water forget-me-not that we all know, this species has massive and long stems perfectly suited for binding. The color is a very fresh and distinct blue. Each plant produces 6-8 stems, and if you let some fade and ripen, seeds are easily collected.
