Leathery leaves form basal rosettes, from which veiled panicles of tiny, light lavender-colored flowers emerge. Perfect for bouquets; for drying, harvest when the flowers are fully colored.

Mints are well-known perennials and herbs, used in floristry as fragrant greenery. This popular tea mint has fresh green leaves and delicate purple flowers.

A lesser-known species of yarrow has dark green, shiny, serrated-lobed leaves that remain attractive throughout the growing season, with sweetly pink flowers that are larger than those of common yarrow. Lasts 10 days in a vase.

A species native to Central Europe, found in clearings, moist meadows, and light forest edges. Typically a biennial or short-lived perennial. In its first year, the plant forms basal leaf rosettes in autumn, from which flower-bearing stems emerge in spring. Further development depends on the chosen site. In some places, it will survive another season; elsewhere, we must rely on self-seeding or plant new specimens. All parts of foxglove are poisonous. It lasts 6 to 8 days in a vase.

While its main charm lies in the adorable flowers that appear in late spring, it's also valuable in beds for its early-emerging leaves. Columbines add an airy, light feel to perennial beds and bouquets. They last 7 days in a vase. This variety was discovered in Cambridge in the 1980s by Nora Barlow, Charles Darwin's granddaughter. The flower color transitions from pink and white to green.

Oriental poppy originates from the Caucasus, Turkey, and Iran, where it grows on rocky slopes and dry meadows. It blooms with large, cup-shaped flowers on tall stems. Like all poppies, for use in bouquets, we harvest them as soon as the buds color and "burst open." Additionally, we briefly (for about 20 seconds) sear the ends of the stems with a flame and immediately place them in cold water. They then last 4 days in a vase. The noticeably fuzzy and large leaves die back shortly after flowering, and the plant must rest until spring to regain strength. Some leaves sprout again in late summer. Therefore, it is advisable to plant other perennials nearby that, on the contrary, sprout later and can draw attention during the poppy's dormant period. The Brilliant variety has scarlet red flowers with central spots and stamens of a dark burgundy to black color.
