Greenery is a must! And amaranth is our evergreen. Coral Fountain is a cultivar of Love-Lies-Bleeding (Amaranthus caudatus) whose plumes don't grow upright but instead fall to the ground like a waterfall. And a waterfall in a coral shade at that! It's perfect for bouquets, even if used in smaller quantities. It also looks interesting in a garden bed; it's definitely an annual that adds a unique effect. Cultivation

Pro předpěstování vysejte nejdříve 5 až 6 týdnů před posledními mrazy. Potřebuje světlo ke klíčení, proto zasypejte jen tenkou vrstvou substrátu, aby nedocházelo k vysychání.

Ze začátku je nutné zalévat pouze spodem, kdy vložíte sadbovač do misky s vodou a necháte vodu vzlínat. Zalitím svrchu spláchnete všechna vysetá semínka.

Jakmile budou sazeničky větší, snižte teplotu na 17-18°C a přesazujte ven až po posledních mrazech.

Přímý výsev je také možný, laskavec potřebuje vyšší teploty ke klíčení, proto počkejte až na květen. Zasypáváme jen tenkou vrstvou, semena potřebují světlo ke klíčení.
