Autumn's Touch is a sibling of our beloved amaranth Hot Biscuits, but the tails are variegated in cookie brown, ochre, and green. A very interesting effect! Orlaya likes low temperatures, so it's a purely spring and autumn beauty. It adds a fresh and airy effect to all bouquets, and the same goes for garden beds. The flowers are composed of individual tiny florets resembling lace, which is why we use it instead of baby's breath. "Casablanca" is a larger Orlaya, the plants are taller and more robust, the stems firmer, and it doesn't fade as quickly. Nevertheless, we recommend multiple sowings rather than just one.

Larkspur QIS Light Pink

Larkspurs are spring beauties that are unparalleled. But if you want to harvest them for cut flowers, you must be vigilant and harvest quickly before all the buds open. Especially in the warm springs of recent years, they fade quickly, so we sow several batches 14 days apart to even manage the harvest. Delphinium QIS Light Pink is a beautiful, very light shade of warm pink. From one plant, you'll harvest one thicker main stem and 4-5 smaller side shoots.

Cultivation

Pro předpěstování vysejte nejdříve 5 až 6 týdnů před posledními mrazy. Potřebuje světlo ke klíčení, proto zasypejte jen tenkou vrstvou substrátu, aby nedocházelo k vysychání.

Ze začátku je nutné zalévat pouze spodem, kdy vložíte sadbovač do misky s vodou a necháte vodu vzlínat. Zalitím svrchu spláchnete všechna vysetá semínka.

Jakmile budou sazeničky větší, snižte teplotu na 17-18°C a přesazujte ven až po posledních mrazech.

Přímý výsev je také možný, laskavec potřebuje vyšší teploty ke klíčení, proto počkejte až na květen. Zasypáváme jen tenkou vrstvou, semena potřebují světlo ke klíčení.

Greenery is a must! And amaranth is our evergreen. Coral Fountain is a cultivar of Love-Lies-Bleeding (Amaranthus caudatus) whose plumes don't grow upright but instead fall to the ground like a waterfall. And a waterfall in a coral shade at that! It's perfect for bouquets, even if used in smaller quantities. It also looks interesting in a garden bed; it's definitely an annual that adds a unique effect. Each plant produces one strong stem and up to five weaker side stems.
