Jacob's Ladder is a native wild perennial cultivated in gardens as an ornamental plant since the 16th century. It has individual leaves arranged in a strikingly regular pattern, hence its common name Jacob's Ladder. Harvest when about a third of the flowers are open. It lasts 7 to 10 days in a vase. The 'White Pearl' cultivar has pure white flowers with yellow stamens.

The fragrant and delicate flowers are very well suited for cutting into a vase and also attract bees. A beautiful pure white form of mallow, elegant in combination with roses or in drought-tolerant communities.
