Agastache Mango Tango

Most of the hybrids available here originate from plants native to North America and Mexico. They are characterized by a delicate overall appearance. This elegant plant with small fragrant leaves continuously blooms throughout the summer with many tiny flowers and attracts butterflies and bees.

Catananche is a medium-tall, short-lived perennial. It originates from the Mediterranean and is therefore suitable for areas with milder winters. Attractive blue flowers that resemble chicory. The undeveloped flower buds are also beautiful, as are the silvery faded inflorescences. Also suitable for drying. Fresh, they last 7 days in a vase.

Additionally, we briefly (for about 20 seconds) sear the ends of the stems with a flame and immediately place them in cold water. They then last 4 days in a vase. The noticeably fuzzy and large leaves die back shortly after flowering, and the plant must rest until spring to regain strength. Some leaves sprout again in late summer. Therefore, it is advisable to plant other perennials nearby that, on the contrary, sprout later and can draw attention during the poppy's dormant period. Penstemon digitalis 'Husker Red' is a relatively robust and long-lived perennial with attractive bronze-purple foliage and white-purple flowers. The decorative faded inflorescences will adorn your flowerbeds until winter. However, the plant can also be cut back after flowering to encourage new growth. We recommend pruning Penstemon after blooming to encourage new growth. It lasts 5 to 7 days in a vase.

Stipa flowers captivate in beds and bouquets with their lightness and delicacy. All stipas love full sun and dry, stony, well-drained soil. Only then will their stems and inflorescences come alive with the slightest breath of wind. 'Ponny Tails' is a species native to the steppes of Mexico, Texas, and Patagonia. Airy, dense tufts of hair-like, delicate leaves resemble horsehair. The leaves are green, turning straw-colored towards the flowers. It even self-seeds in a suitable location.

A beautiful delicate perennial originating from North America. Striking, relatively large but gentle flowers blend beautifully with a rich, fluffy cloud of tiny leaves. They form compact bushes and are ideal for the front of flowerbeds. Coreopsis are naturally short-lived perennials. Their lifespan can be partially influenced by choosing a suitable location and care throughout the season. 'Full Moon' is a taller and more vigorous variant of the proven 'Moonbeam' variety. Like 'Moonbeam', it has light yellow flowers that combine very well with the colors of other perennials and bloom repeatedly for many weeks. It lasts about a week in a vase.

An undemanding and modest perennial that blooms with a large number of small flowers. It flowers for a record long time throughout late summer and autumn. It forms smaller, compact, airy bushes that emit a minty, spicy fragrance. The thyme-like flowers attract bees, bumblebees, and butterflies.
