Baby's breath Snowflake is an absolute classic that should not be missing in any traditional or modern garden. This perennial plant originally comes from the sandy steppes and sunny slopes of southern Europe and Central Asia, which predestines it to love full sun and well-drained, even sandy soil. It has been grown in botanical gardens since the eighteenth century, and thanks to its low maintenance, it quickly found its way into private gardens as well. Naturally, columbines occur in light forests, so they are best suited to a partially shaded location with well-draining loamy soil full of humus. It is therefore professional seed, but don't worry, we tested it and it can be grown both outdoors and in a polytunnel; both work perfectly. Baya has oval-cut flowers with a line in the middle; the color is creamy white.

Mullein is a native European perennial that brings a piece of wild nature's magic to gardens. In the wild, you will most often find it growing on sunny, rocky hillsides and drier grassy spots, where it withstands a lack of water well. Thanks to this origin, it is a very undemanding plant, whose cultivation even a complete beginner can easily manage. In the garden, it will do best in full sun in well-drained and rather sandy soil, where it will not suffer from waterlogging. It produces striking, over a meter tall stems full of vibrant flowers, bringing necessary height and firm structure to mixed perennial beds. Even though it is classified among short-lived perennials, it grows reliably in a sunny spot and seamlessly handles frosts below minus twenty degrees. During May and June, the thick stems are covered with a flood of bright yellow flowers. A garden cultivar created by crossing the Himalayan geranium and our native meadow geranium. Its great advantage is the large blue flowers that appear from May and throughout the summer. It creates wide cushion-like clumps, and its leaves turn warm orange-red tones in autumn.

This species of iris probably originates originally from the Mediterranean. It has long been a very popular ornamental garden plant, bred into many cultivars. Allegedly, the Celts already cultivated them, it was popular in the Middle Ages and became a heraldic plant. It lasts 3–7 days in a vase. Lugano has ivory white flowers with a sulphur-yellow throat and beards. It can repeat flowering once more in autumn.

The perennial spurge schillingii, native to the mountainous regions of Nepal, is exactly the plant that works as a great base for more vibrant colors in a flower bed. You will receive from us a strong, rooted seedling in a pot, which you can simply transplant to a sunny spot with well-drained soil. Within a short time in the garden, it will form clumps roughly eighty centimeters to a meter high. It will certainly catch your attention with its narrow green leaves featuring a characteristic white central vein. But it puts on a real show from May to August, when it blooms with smaller lime-green and yellow flowers. These tones create a very fresh impression in the garden and perfectly soften and unify the overall composition. Thanks to its size and upright growth, it stands out best in the middle or back part of the flower bed. Although it is a species suitable for slightly more advanced gardeners, it does not need any complicated care during the season and reliably overwinters down to minus eighteen degrees. A great advantage is that pests avoid it by a wide margin, and it does not suffer from common diseases. Rose campion is a striking perennial that will bring a bold color contrast and a unique texture to the garden. It originally comes from the sunny and dry regions of southern Europe and Asia, where it grows on rocky and poor soils. Thanks to this, it is exceptionally undemanding and will handle even harsh frosts without problems here. It forms clumps with silver, softly felted stems and gray-green leaves that look decorative even before blooming. During June and July, vibrant fuchsia-pink to purple flowers appear on the stems. Rose campion blooms for a very long time, as a new little flower blooms every day and replaces the previous one. It is a short-lived perennial, but in a suitable location, it easily self-seeds. It does not suffer from any diseases or pests, which will be appreciated especially by beginner growers. It is perfectly suited for cutting into summer bouquets.

The individual flower heads of this Allium are composed of pure white florets with pink stamens and veins. A species of North American origin.

The 'Mount Everest' allium is a remarkable result of Dutch breeding. Its individual snow-white florets with narrow petals are arranged into giant spheres. The tall stems are sturdy and upright.

Our favorite foliage and filler. It grows beautifully and binds famously! The flowers are yellowish, so they don't color-match every bouquet, but we still never have enough of it! And after flowering, tiny seed pods form which are also beautifully decorative and don't wilt; we love collecting those too.

Orlaya is a floral variety somewhere between Ammi and ornamental carrot. However, it also has outer flowers with large petals, creating the impression of lace or embroidery. The stems are strong and straight, fitting beautifully into bouquets. And after flowering, tiny seed heads form which are also beautifully decorative and do not wilt; we love harvesting those too.

Soapwort is an exceptionally hardy and undemanding perennial that will bring a flood of flowers and a delicate sweet scent to the garden. The original wild species grows in sunny and semi-shaded places with loamy or sandy soil, where it forms rich stands and easily survives even very severe frosts. While the wild form can spread too aggressively in flowerbeds, the cultivated double-flowered variants are much more considerate to other plants and stay in their place. From June to September, it reliably attracts bees and butterflies. In the garden, it perfectly complements mixed perennial beds, where it requires no special care or support. It is excellently suited for cutting into summer bouquets. We recommend harvesting the stems when about a third of the flowers are open; then they will stay beautiful in your vase for a full seven days.
