Než se pustíte do podzimní výsadby, uskladněte obdržené cibule na suchém, chladném a dobře větraném místě. Tulipánům La Belle Epoque se nejlépe daří na plném slunci nebo v mírném polostínu. Zásadní je pro ně správná volba půdy – ideální je hlinitá, humózní a především dobře propustná zemina. Pokud máte na zahradě těžkou a přemokřenou půdu, doporučujeme na dno výsadbové jamky přidat vrstvu písku nebo jemného štěrku. Zabráníte tak uhnívání cibulí během vlhkých zimních měsíců. Vzhledem k výšce 40 až 50 centimetrů se tyto tulipány skvěle hodí do středních partií trvalkových záhonů, kde jejich jedinečné starorůžové a lososové odstíny naplno vyniknou.\n\nSamotná výsadba probíhá v podzimních měsících, ideálně v období od září do listopadu, kdy už půda není příliš prohřátá od letního slunce. Cibule sázejte špičkou nahoru do hloubky 10 až 15 centimetrů. Aby záhon působil bohatým a uceleným dojmem, dodržujte spon 10 až 15 centimetrů mezi jednotlivými rostlinami, což odpovídá zhruba 50 až 70 cibulím na metr čtvereční. Protože obdržíte ty největší dostupné cibule, mají v sobě uloženou spoustu energie pro silný jarní růst, takže si s nimi hravě poradí i úplní začátečníci. Po zasazení půdu lehce přitlačte a důkladně zalijte, aby cibule mohly do zimy dobře zakořenit.\n\nBěhem jarních měsíců, kdy tulipány v dubnu a květnu kvetou, udržujte půdu mírně vlhkou, zálivka by měla být spíše vyvážená. La Belle Epoque je vynikající volbou k řezu do váz, květiny ale nejsou vhodné k sušení. V průběhu vegetace dávejte pozor na přemokření, které může vést k rozvoji šedé hniloby (Botrytis cinerea), a rostliny pravidelně kontrolujte, abyste předešli šíření viru mozaiky. Po odkvětu je nutné nechat zelené listy přirozeně zežloutnout a zaschnout, jedině tak cibule načerpá živiny pro další sezónu. Jde o krátkověkou trvalku s excelentní mrazuvzdorností až do -34 °C, takže cibule bez problémů přečkají zimu v zemi a nepotřebují žádné speciální zazimování.
