In good conditions, it is a hardy and long-lived plant. After the first wave of flowering, it is recommended to cut it back and water it; it will regrow and set buds again. Despite the double flowers, this cultivar attracts plenty of bees and butterflies. Excellent resistance in drier conditions is also reported.

Red Knight charms in flower beds with slender high stems that carry dark wine-colored flowers. It is suitable for naturally designed sunny to semi-shady beds and meadow bouquets.

Fountain grasses originate from East Asia, where they grow in meadows and light forests. They form hemispherical clumps of narrow leaves which, like the flowers, color up in the autumn. They are suitable for the vase and for drying. The 'Hameln' cultivar is one of the most reliable bloomers in cooler regions. The inflorescences initially have a soft pink tinge, then change color to yellow-brown or reddish-brown.

Perovskia are sparsely branched subshrubs, originating from areas ranging from Afghanistan to Tibet. They grow in open, sunny, rocky, and stony habitats. Their white-felted shoots and grayish aromatic leaves are striking. They fit well in sunny flower beds with other drought-loving perennials, where they create interesting structures even in the winter months. Little Spire is a smaller cultivar suitable even for pots with a soil volume of 7 liters or more.

A clump-forming species of geranium. Originally a native perennial with striking blue flowers in the natural species. Upright flowering stems up to 50 cm tall grow from a clump of rich green, deeply cut leaves. In good conditions, it is a hardy and long-lived plant. The Striatum cultivar, sometimes also referred to as Splish Splash. The white flowers look as if splashed with blue paint. The intensity of the coloring can vary; purely white and purely blue flowers may appear on the plant. At home in your flower beds, select those with the most blue markings and propagate them further by dividing the clumps to maintain the color variety.

Sidalcea is a beautiful long-flowering perennial. Its inflorescence resembles miniature hollyhocks or mallow. It fits well into classic combinations with roses as well as into wilder beds with grasses.

This Phlomis grows wild in Central and Southeastern Europe; here it is among the critically endangered species. The stems are purple and bear rough, heart-shaped leaves. The flowers are pink-purple; the dry capsules with seeds are also decorative. It creates a distinct decorative element even in winter. Particularly impressive is the combination with soft, loose plantings of grasses and perennials, into which Phlomis introduces a strict graphic accent.

The Obedient plant is a native plant of the eastern regions of North America, where it grows on riverbanks and on moist meadows. It forms upright, bushy clumps that spread to the surroundings via root runners. The flowers have the shape of a slender spike with four rows of tubular flowers and resemble Snapdragon flowers. Harvest as soon as the first flowers in the inflorescence open; they continue to bloom in the vase. In a bouquet, they are a suitable companion for Dahlias and last 10–14 days in a vase. The plant has a very delicate appearance. It is beautiful in combination with other late asters and ornamental grasses. An impressive solitary perennial with a massive, sparsely branched growth type. It produces light yellow-green flowers on long stems resembling Scabious flowers. The contrast between the relatively massive mass of leaves and the airy wire-like stems with small flower heads is very effective. It lasts about 5 days in a vase. Spent inflorescences are also interesting in beds and bouquets.

A relatively short-lived, biennial to perennial plant with a charming scent and a long flowering period. A beautiful addition to rose beds, also suitable for country-style plantings. We can use it as undergrowth under taller shrubs and trees. It smells noticeably more in the evening and at night, attracting moths. For cutting, we harvest as soon as the first few florets open. The stems can still grow a bit even after cutting, we take this into account when creating arrangements. It lasts 5 to 7 days in a vase.

Série Feathers, do které patří i kultivar Flamingo, představuje malý průlom ve šlechtění šalvějí, především díky svým unikátním, hluboce stříhaným listům. Tato šalvěj tak v záhonech působí dekorativně svou strukturou ještě předtím, než se objeví první poupata. Jak napovídá název Flamingo, květy mají nádherný růžový odstín a na rostlině vykvétají ve velkém množství během celého léta. Původní botanické druhy šalvějí pocházejí ze suchých a slunných stepních oblastí, a i tato zahradní krasavice si zachovává lásku k slunci a propustným půdám. Nesnáší přemokření, zato výborně zvládá letní přísušky a chudší stanoviště. V zahradní kompozici vynikne ve skupinové výsadbě na předním okraji trvalkových rabat nebo v moderních štěrkových záhonech. Její aromatické listy a květy plné nektaru přitahují užitečný hmyz, takže zahrada s ní doslova ožije. Pokud odkvetlá květenství sestřihnete, podpoříte hustotu trsu a rostlina často remontuje a vykvete znovu koncem léta. Díky své odolnosti a mrazuvzdornosti až do -28 °C je spolehlivou součástí českých zahrad. Květy lze použít i do vázy, kde tvoří jemný, romantický prvek.
