Řebříček Little Moonshine spolehlivě rozzáří každý slunný záhon a přitom od vás nebude vyžadovat téměř žádnou péči. Původní divoké druhy řebříčků rostou na suchých loukách a kamenitých stráních, proto i tento kříženec ocení především plné slunce a dobře propustnou, spíše sušší půdu. Od nás obdržíte již vzrostlou sazenici v květináči, kterou stačí jen přesadit na zahradu, kde brzy vytvoří hustý trs stříbřitě šedozelených aromatických listů. Kultivar Little Moonshine vyniká kompaktním, nižším vzrůstem a od léta až do podzimu bohatě nakvétá plochými květenstvími v zářivě žluté barvě. Tyto květy na pevných stoncích fungují jako spolehlivé lákadlo pro motýly a včely. Skvěle se uplatní v pestrých suchomilných výsadbách, kde krásně doplní modré šalvěje, levandule nebo nižší okrasné trávy. Jde také o vynikající rostlinu k řezu. Ve váze vám čerstvé květy vydrží kolem deseti dnů a velmi snadno se dají usušit pro použití do zimních dekorací, přičemž si výborně zachovávají svůj jasný odstín i pevný tvar.

Cultivation
Řebříček 'Little Moonshine' je vyloženě slunomilná trvalka, jejíž pěstování hravě zvládne i úplný začátečník. Pro úspěšný růst vyberte plně osluněné a horké stanoviště s dobře propustnou, písčitou a spíše chudou půdou. Těžkým, přemokřeným a jílovitým půdám se rozhodně vyhněte, rostlina by v nich mohla uhnít. Protože od nás obdržíte již krásně prokořeněnou sazenici, můžete ji vysadit rovnou na záhon, a to ideálně na jaře nebo začátkem podzimu. Při výsadbě dodržujte spon 30 až 40 centimetrů, což odpovídá zhruba 7 až 9 rostlinám na metr čtvereční. Tento rozestup je důležitý pro zajištění dobré cirkulace vzduchu kolem stříbřitě zelených listů.
Po výsadbě sazenici přiměřeně zalévejte, dokud plně nezakoření. Jakmile se ale na novém místě usadí, stává se z ní velmi suchomilná rostlina, které postačí jen běžné srážky. Zálivku navíc vyžaduje opravdu jen během extrémně dlouhých letních such. S hnojením si nemusíte dělat vůbec žádné starosti. V chudé půdě si řebříček udrží svůj kompaktní vzrůst kolem 30 až 45 centimetrů a jeho stonky budou dostatečně pevné, takže nebudou potřebovat žádnou oporu. Právě díky svému nižšímu vzrůstu se tento kultivar skvěle hodí i pro pěstování v nádobách a truhlících na slunných balkonech. Při výsadbě do květináče nezapomeňte na velkorysou drenážní vrstvu a zeminu vylehčenou pískem, aby voda mohla rychle odtékat.
Během sezóny se jedná o naprosto bezúdržbovou rostlinu, kterou navíc netrápí žádní škůdci ani choroby. Její výrazně aromatické listy přirozeně odpuzují nevítané hosty, zatímco zářivě citronově žluté květy magicky přitahují včely a motýly. Pro prodloužení doby kvetení, která trvá od června až do září, doporučujeme průběžně odstraňovat odkvetlá květenství. Před příchodem zimy není nutná žádná speciální ochrana. Tato trvalka je extrémně mrazuvzdorná, bez problémů snese teploty až do -34 °C. Zaschlá květenství navíc vytvářejí na zahradě krásný zimní efekt, proto stačí provést zpětný řez celého trsu těsně nad zemí až v předjaří, než začnou rašit nové listy.

Fernleaf Yarrow originates from the Caucasus and Central Asia. Unlike Common Yarrow, it grows in clumps and is also suitable for drying. Cutting back soon after flowering encourages re-blooming. However, if you decide to leave the spent stems in the beds, you gain a perfect structure that remains impressive long into winter. The leaves of this species emit a typical bitter Yarrow aroma. It lasts 10 days in a vase.
