Hellebores are evergreen perennials that form slowly spreading clumps of leathery, dark green leaves. The stems usually bear four to five flowers. Earlier, they tend to wilt and the stems cannot hold the flower in an upright position. All parts of the plant are poisonous. Double Ellen Red is a double-flowered hellebore with rounded petals of dark burgundy red color with a lighter undertone on the bottom row of petals.

Somewhere it survives another season, elsewhere we must rely on self-seeding or plant new plants. All parts of the foxglove are poisonous. Lasts 6 to 8 days in a vase.

Rudbeckia, also known as coneflowers, originates from North America; they are robust and abundantly blooming perennials of late summer and autumn. They are suitable for prairie plantings with tall grasses as well as for cottage gardens. The central disks look very effective even after flowering and decorate perennial beds throughout the winter. Harvest for the vase as soon as they bloom. Vase life is 7 to 10 days. We can also use the dry central disks. Goldsturm is a reliable and long-proven cultivar. It has bright golden-yellow flowers with dark centers.

It originates from the Caucasus and Western Asia, where it grows on mountain meadows and on the edges of sparse forests and shrub thickets. It will grow well in the company of plants that will not compete too much with a vigorous root system. It will be the perfect companion for roses and hydrangeas. 'Loddon Anna' blooms beautifully and profusely with light pink flowers. The long stems of this bellflower are directly predestined for cutting. It lasts up to 14 days in a vase.

It originates from the northeastern USA and southern Canada, where it grows in damp areas, scrublands, and on coasts. It crosses very willingly with other aster species, resulting in an inexhaustible number of varieties. Unlike New England asters, they do not close their flowers at night or during unfavorable weather, making them perfect for cutting into vases. We must keep in mind their susceptibility to mildew, which can be prevented by choosing a suitable location. They last 7 to 10 days in a vase. The white variety White Ladies is large-flowered, profusely blooming, and of taller growth.

A versatile perennial suitable for both cottage and modern flower beds. It also works well in wild, naturalistic plantings. While its main charm lies in the cute flowers that appear in late spring, it is also valuable in beds for its early-emerging leaves. Mallow is an undemanding native perennial with pleasantly scented light pink flowers. Since ancient times, its leaves, flowers, and unripe seeds have been used as a vegetable and herb. In the 16th century, it was even considered a panacea. In flower beds, due to its rapid growth and development as well as abundant flowering, it is perfectly suited for filling gaps in freshly established plantings. It looks very effective already in the first season and steals all the attention at a time when other perennials are still taking their time. The fragrant and tender flowers are very suitable for cutting into a vase and also attract bees.

Cosmos are one of the most popular flowers on our farm. They resemble Daisies and customers love them. And now imagine that such a hit comes in a double-flowered version! Absolutely magnificent! A flood of flowers resembling cotton candy; the Bicolor pink variant is full of soft pink shades. Some blooms are cool pink and others are in a warm blush color. One plant produces at least 12 stems.

Mints are well-known perennials and herbs, used in floristry as fragrant foliage. Dark reddish leaves on almost black stems. Purple flower spikes. Sweet menthol scent.

It is a typical Mediterranean species that tolerates drought and heat well here, but not winter waterlogging. The wulfenii cultivar should be less sensitive to cold, but intolerance to winter waterlogging remains. Plant in protected places, e.g., in front of a warm house wall in Mediterranean-style beds. Floristically, it is valuable for its greenery and early flowering. Lasts 7–10 days in a vase. Beware of the milky sap in the stems, which can irritate the skin.

Monardas, or bee balms, originate from the eastern parts of North America. They most often grow along paths, in thickets, and on the edges of light forests. They are honey-bearing aromatic plants, perfectly usable for cutting and in the kitchen. We ensure good living conditions to prevent powdery mildew. Typical for the Monarda Beauty of Cobham is the distinct contrast between purple-violet bracts and soft pink flowers. Planting in full sun further strengthens the purple tinge of the leaves and stems. It is well resistant to powdery mildew.

The Twizzle series includes several color varieties, all characterized by upright growth and an overall finer appearance of stems and flowers. The florets are about 3–4 cm large. They last 5–7 days in a vase.

This species of iris probably originates from the Mediterranean. A long-favored ornamental garden plant, bred into many cultivars.
