Meadow sage occurs here primarily in warmer regions, especially in southern Moravia and northern and central Bohemia. It grows on sunny meadows and hillsides and along paths. The original home of bleeding hearts is Korea and China, where they grow in light deciduous forests. They are classic garden perennials. They will look perfect in nostalgically styled flower beds; the white variant fits well even into naturalistic woodland gardens. They are popular for their heart-shaped flowers hanging on horizontal or arching stems. These weaken and die back some time after flowering; all the plant's energy then concentrates in the roots, and at that moment, we can cut the above-ground part back completely. Harvest when the first 3–4 flowers open on the stem. The basic species has pink-white flowers. In spring, the sprouting shoots have a pink tinge.

Feather grass flowers capture attention in beds and bouquets with their lightness and delicacy. All feather grasses love full sun and dry, stony, well-drained soil. To look most natural in beds, it is good to plant them in loose groups of several pieces together with other drought-loving perennials and bulbs. Only then do their stems and inflorescences, set in motion by the slightest breath of wind, truly stand out. Stipa 'Ponny Tails' is a species native to the steppes of Mexico, Texas, and Patagonia. Airy, dense clumps of hair-like delicate leaves resemble horsehair. The leaves are green, turning up to straw-colored towards the flowers. In a suitable location, it also self-seeds.

In nature, we find it in steppes on dry pastures and stony slopes of Central and Southern Europe. It is a well-known plant used in floristry. Excellently usable in both fresh and dried states. For drying, we select only stems with fully opened flowers. We hang them flowers-down in a dry, airy, and dark place.

A groundcover variety of thyme that catches the eye at first glance with its yellow-green variegated leaf. Pink flowers complement the color range from June. In addition to the characteristic fragrance, another plus of this thyme is its winter appearance. Under the influence of low temperatures, the entire plant changes color to dusty pink tones.

Penstemon digitalis Husker Red is a relatively robust and long-lived perennial with attractive bronze-purple foliage and white-purple flowers. The decorative spent flower heads continue to adorn flowerbeds until winter. However, the plant can also be trimmed after flowering to encourage new growth. We recommend cutting back the Penstemon after flowering so it sprouts again. It lasts 5 to 7 days in a vase.

This meadow-rue originates from Western China, where it grows on mountain plains and in scrub alongside other tall perennials. It is a spectacular, delicate perennial, ornamental not only for its flowers but also for its tiny pinnate leaves. The flowers grow in loose panicles on thin, purple-coloured stems. The individual florets are very tiny, lilac in colour with prominent yellow stamens. In beds and bouquets, they create an airy, lacy effect. Lasts 7 days in a vase.

We grow marjoram as an aromatic medicinal annual. It belongs among the most frequently used herbs in the kitchen. It can grow in a pot, freely in flower beds, or in rock gardens.
