The 'Solar Glory' goldenrod will brighten up late summer flower beds with its golden flowers and reliably attract bees. The original wild species come from North America, where they grow in open, sunny locations. Our garden cultivars have retained their immense hardiness, but they have no invasive tendencies and do not spread uncontrollably in beds. After transplanting into well-drained loamy soil, a sturdy clump reaching a height of up to one meter will quickly grow from the supplied mature seedling in a pot. It is an undemanding, long-lived perennial that even beginners can manage to grow. It needs no support, does not suffer from pests, and handles severe frosts. 'Solar Glory' is specially bred for cutting and blooms in lighter yellow shades from August to October. For harvesting into bouquets, you can use blooming stems as well as those with buds; they will last about ten days in a vase. It will also serve excellently for drying into winter arrangements. The uncut flowers will create a nice winter effect in the flower bed. A surprise is that the flowers are edible, and you can use them to garnish your dishes.

Při výsadbě dodržujte spon přibližně 50 cm, což odpovídá 4 až 6 rostlinám na metr čtvereční. Tento rozestup je důležitý pro zajištění dobré cirkulace vzduchu kolem listů, což rostlině svědčí a udržuje ji v perfektní kondici. Ačkoli se jedná o velmi vitální a dlouhověkou trvalku, tento moderní kultivar se na rozdíl od starších druhů po záhonech nekontrolovatelně nerozrůstá a nevysemeňuje se. Vaše zahrada tak získá stabilní a ukázněnou rostlinu, se kterou nebudete mít žádné starosti navíc.

It will look good among roses as well as in naturalistic steppe beds, perhaps with lower grasses. This calamint is generally more vigorous. It differs from other calamints with felted leaves by its record flowering length, stiff and shiny leaves, and also a larger number of flowers that do not form seeds and are therefore maximally durable. Sometimes sold under the cultivar name 'Triumphator'.

The Czech Perennial Association chose autumn Anemones as the perennial of the season for 2022. They last 7 days in a vase. Whirlwind is a historical variety bred in 1887 in the USA. It has a semi-double pure white flower, often with inner twisted petals, and compact, strictly upright growth. The flowers are very durable.
