This long-lived perennial earns its botanical name Helenium thanks to its flowers, which resemble tiny suns with prominent centers. In its native North America, it grows primarily in sunny, moist meadows, so it will thrive best in your garden in full sun and loamy soil with regular watering. You will receive a well-rooted seedling from us, which you can simply plant directly into its perfect spot in the flower bed. The 'Helena Gold' cultivar forms upright clumps of dark green leaves, above which radiant, golden-yellow flowers open from summer to autumn. Reaching a height of up to 120 centimeters, it will become an unmissable focal point at the back of your flower beds. It is a good idea to provide support for the stems so they do not fall over in the wind or after rain.
