A classic perennial of Czech gardens, although originally from North America. In nature, it grows in thickets among taller plants and naturally loses leaves on the lower part of the stem very early. Its bred cultivars also retain this characteristic. Therefore, we combine it in beds with suitable perennials that cover the lower parts well. The whole plant is roughly hairy. It is a hardy and long-lived perennial and resists powdery mildew well. Harrington’s Pink is a variety found in the wild; it has 2.5 to 3.5 cm large flowers of bright pink color with a yellow center. It belongs to the later-flowering varieties. It lasts 7 to 10 days in a vase.

An undemanding and modest perennial that blooms with a large number of tiny flowers. It blooms for a record-breaking length of time throughout late summer and autumn. It forms smaller, compact, airy bushes that release a minty-spicy scent. The thyme-like flowers attract bees, bumblebees, and butterflies. It will look good among roses as well as in naturalistic steppe beds, perhaps with lower grasses. This calamint is generally more vigorous. It differs from other calamints with felted leaves by its record flowering length, stiff and shiny leaves, and also a larger number of flowers that do not form seeds and are therefore maximally durable. Harvest as soon as the first flowers in the inflorescence open; they continue to bloom in the vase. In a bouquet, they are a suitable companion for Dahlias and last 10–14 days in a vase. The original home of bleeding hearts is Korea and China, where they grow in light deciduous forests. They are classic garden perennials. They will look perfect in nostalgically styled flower beds; the white variant fits well even into naturalistic woodland gardens. They are popular for their heart-shaped flowers hanging on horizontal or arching stems. These weaken and die back some time after flowering; all the plant's energy then concentrates in the roots, and at that moment, we can cut the above-ground part back completely. For the rest of the year, we won't even know the bleeding heart is in the garden. It will remind us of its charm again in the spring. Perfect vase life, at least 7 days. Harvest when the first 3–4 flowers open on the stem. The basic species has pink-white flowers. In spring, the sprouting shoots have a pink tinge.

Poppy Champagne Bubbles Orange
Requires a sunny location, but tolerates slight partial shade. Once established, it handles drought well. Ordinary, well-drained garden soil is ideal. Iceland poppy flowers are single, slightly larger than annual common poppies, and also last longer in a vase. They appear throughout spring, sometimes even into September. The leaves are a fresh green colour and arranged in a basal rosette. The whole plant exudes a milky sap. Like all Poppies, harvest for bouquets as soon as the buds show colour and "crack". Additionally, sear the stem ends briefly (for about 20 seconds) with a flame and immediately place in cold water. They will then last 4 days in a vase.

Tato nenáročná trvalka miluje slunné až polostinné stanoviště, ideálně takové otevřené a mírně chladnější místo, kde na ni nebude pražit úmorné odpolední slunce. Pro úspěšné pěstování jí dopřejte hlinitou, humózní a dobře propustnou půdu, která spolehlivě udrží stabilní vlhkost. Při sázení myslete na to, že rostlina v dospělosti dorůstá výšky přes jeden metr (110-120 cm), a proto jí nechte dostatek prostoru k růstu. Dodržujte spon kolem padesáti centimetrů, což zajistí dobrou cirkulaci vzduchu mezi jednotlivými trsy. Právě volně proudící vzduch je totiž tou nejlepší přirozenou prevencí proti padlí, což je nepříjemné houbové onemocnění listů, na které mohou být floxy citlivější především v období sucha.\n\nZálivka je pro tuto rostlinu naprosto klíčová, protože přirozeně vyžaduje velký dostatek vláhy. Zejména v horkých letních dnech ji zalévejte vydatně a pravidelně, přičemž vodu směřujte vždy přímo ke kořenům, abyste zbytečně nemáčeli olistění. Na oplátku se nemusíte trápit žádnými nezvanými škůdci, ti se této voňavé krásce naštěstí vyhýbají obloukem. Aby vám plamenka bohatě a dlouze kvetla, ocení brzy na jaře přihnojení odleželým kompostem, který můžete kolem rostliny použít i jako praktický mulč pro udržení tolik potřebné vlhkosti v půdě. Na dno pěstební nádoby nezapomeňte nasypat silnou drenážní vrstvu, například z keramzitu, aby kořeny nikdy nestály ve vodě, což by rychle vedlo k jejich nevratnému uhnívání. V květináči bude substrát pochopitelně vysychat mnohem rychleji než ve volné zahradní půdě, takže pravidelná, v horku často i každodenní zálivka bude naprostou nutností. K nepříjemnému přeschnutí kořenového balu je tato rostlina velmi netolerantní.\n\nPřípravy na zimu se u tohoto druhu bát rozhodně nemusíte. Jedná se o mimořádně odolnou trvalku, která bez nejmenších problémů snese i velmi kruté mrazy až do minus třiceti čtyř stupňů. Na konci podzimu, kdy nadzemní část rostliny po prvních silných mrazech přirozeně odumře, stačí všechny staré stonky seříznout zahradnickými nůžkami těsně nad zemí. Tím efektivně zamezíte případnému přezimování zárodků houbových chorob a vaše rostlina na jaře opět vyraší plná nové síly.
