The Little Henry cultivar is indeed exceptional in its shape; the yellow petals are rolled up into narrow tubes and surround a prominent brown center. Compared to the original species, this variant is slightly shorter, growing to about one meter, and blooms slightly earlier. Rudbékie Little Henry je naprosto nenáročná trvalka, kterou bez problémů zvládnou vypěstovat i úplní začátečníci. Sazenici, kterou od nás obdržíte, můžete vysadit rovnou na vybrané místo na zahradě. Pro dosažení co nejbohatšího kvetení jí dopřejte stanoviště na plném slunci a dobře propustnou, hlinitou až mírně jílovitou půdu. Spon výsadby udržujte kolem 50 centimetrů, což odpovídá zhruba třem až pěti rostlinám na metr čtvereční. Dostatečný prostor kolem rostliny zajistí výbornou cirkulaci vzduchu. Rudbékie je celkově velmi přizpůsobivá, výborně zvládá horká léta a do jisté míry toleruje i sucho. Pokud toužíte po pěstování na terase nebo balkonu, lze ji úspěšně pěstovat i v prostornější nádobě. Zde ovšem pamatujte na to, že substrát bude rychleji vysychat, takže rostlina bude vyžadovat pravidelnější zálivku a na dně květináče musíte zajistit dobrý odtok přebytečné vody.
Během vegetační sezóny vyžaduje tato dlouhověká rostlina jen minimální péči. Se zálivkou si vystačíte ve středním režimu, půda by měla být mírně vlhká, ale rozhodně ne trvale přemokřená. S hnojením to příliš nepřehánějte a vyhněte se nadměrnému používání dusíkatých hnojiv. Při přemíře živin totiž nemusí být trsy stabilní a rostlina by mohla ztratit svůj kompaktní pevný tvar. Běžně dorůstá do výšky zhruba jednoho metru a tvoří krásně ucelený keřík bez nutnosti používat jakoukoliv dodatečnou oporu. Obrovskou výhodou pro každého pěstitele je fakt, že se této trvalce spolehlivě vyhýbají snad všechny běžné choroby i škůdci, takže vás nečeká vůbec žádné složité ošetřování ani chemické postřiky.
Odklvetlé květy můžete během léta buď pravidelně odstraňovat, čímž podpoříte tvorbu dalších čerstvých poupat, nebo je s radostí stříhat jako ozdobu do vázy. Pokud se však rozhodnete ponechat část rostliny nedotčenou na záhoně, připraví vám nádhernou zimní podívanou. Zaschlé výrazné středy vypadají v zimních měsících pod sněhem mimořádně dekorativně. S blížící se zimou se o rostlinu vůbec nemusíte obávat, je totiž plně mrazuvzdorná a hravě odolá teplotám až do minus 28 stupňů. Zaschlé stonky proto doporučujeme seříznout těsně nad zemí až na jaře, těsně před tím, než začne rudbékie znovu ze země obrážet.

A very adaptable and undemanding plant, it grows in clumps and spreads via runners. Cutting back after the first bloom encourages a new set of flowers. Harvest for bouquets when the tiny flowers are fully open. It lasts 10 days in a vase. Terracotta features ochre, shades of orange and yellow, and gray-green foliage.

Calamint
An undemanding and modest perennial that blooms with a large number of tiny flowers. It blooms for a record-breaking length of time throughout late summer and autumn. It forms smaller, compact, airy bushes that release a minty-spicy scent. The thyme-like flowers attract bees, bumblebees, and butterflies. It will look good among roses as well as in naturalistic steppe beds, perhaps with lower grasses. This calamint is generally more vigorous. It differs from other calamints with felted leaves by its record flowering length, stiff and shiny leaves, and also a larger number of flowers that do not form seeds and are therefore maximally durable. Sometimes sold under the cultivar name 'Triumphator'.

The Czech Perennial Association chose autumn Anemones as the perennial of the season for 2022. They last 7 days in a vase. Whirlwind is a historical variety bred in 1887 in the USA. It has a semi-double pure white flower, often with inner twisted petals, and compact, strictly upright growth. The flowers are very durable.
