Výsadba nádherných tulipánů Columbus je perfektním podzimním projektem pro každou zahradu. Nejvhodnější doba pro zasazení obdržených cibulí do půdy je od září do listopadu, kdy zemina pomalu chladne. Pokud cibule získáte s předstihem, uchovejte je v papírovém sáčku nebo bedýnce na chladném, temném a dobře větraném místě. Pro výsadbu si připravte záhon na slunném až polostinném místě. Půdu je potřeba mít hlinitou, humózní a hlavně dobře propustnou. Pokud máte těžší jílovitou zeminu, doporučujeme přidat trochu písku pro lepší odvodnění.

Po odkvětu jednoduše odstřihněte semeník, ale zelené listy nechte na rostlině, dokud samy nezaschnou. Rostlina díky nim sbírá sílu na zimu.
