Turan Blütenmeer je nenáročná a vděčná rostlina, která vám dorazí jako již zapěstovaná sazenice. Pro úspěšné pěstování je naprosto klíčový výběr správného stanoviště. Této mexické krásce se nejlépe daří na plném slunci, případně v lehkém polostínu. Co však nesnese, je těžká, jílovitá půda, která zadržuje vodu. Pro výsadbu proto volte místa s propustnou, písčitou nebo hlinitou zeminou, ideálně na skalkách, v suchých zídkách nebo na okrajích záhonů, kde voda rychle odtéká. Pokud máte na zahradě těžší půdu, je nutné ji před výsadbou vylehčit přimícháním písku nebo drobného štěrku.
Při výsadbě dodržujte spon přibližně 35 cm, což vychází na 8 až 10 rostlin na metr čtvereční. Sazenice se rychle rozrostou a vytvoří husté, bohatě kvetoucí polštáře vysoké 20–30 cm. Zálivka by měla být spíše střídmá. Jakmile rostlina zakoření, dobře zvládá i kratší období sucha. Naopak přemokření, zejména v kombinaci s chladem, jí škodí. Velkou výhodou turanu je, že netrpí na škůdce ani choroby, takže chemickou ochranu můžete nechat ve skříni. Květy jsou navíc jedlé a lákají velké množství včel a motýlů.
Pokud jde o zimování, Erigeron karvinskianus je sice mrazuvzdorný zhruba do -15 °C až -18 °C (zóna 7a), ale v našich podmínkách ho často více než mráz ohrožuje zimní vlhko. V zemi se chová jako krátkověká trvalka. Aby přežil zimu venku, zajistěte mu perfektní drenáž a ideálně ho na podzim nepřestříhávejte – suché části poslouží jako přirozená ochrana. Můžete přidat i přikrývku z chvojí. Pokud rostlina zimu nepřežije, nezoufejte. Turan se velmi ochotně přesévá, takže na jaře často najdete nové semenáčky v okolí původní výsadby, které zajistí kontinuitu kvetení pro další sezóny.
Turan je také excelentní volbou pro pěstování v nádobách a truhlících. V květináči vytvoří nádherný převis plný drobných kvítků měnících barvu z bílé na růžovou. Při pěstování v nádobě je ale nutné zajistit odtokové otvory a drenážní vrstvu (keramzit, kamínky) na dně. Substrát smíchejte s trochou písku. Na zimu doporučujeme nádoby přenést na chráněné, světlé a bezmrazé místo (například do nevytápěného skleníku nebo zimní zahrady) a omezit zálivku na minimum, protože v promrzlém květináči by kořeny zimu venku nepřežily.

An undemanding and modest perennial that blooms with a large number of tiny flowers. It blooms for a record-breaking length of time throughout late summer and autumn. It forms smaller, compact, airy bushes that release a minty-spicy scent. The thyme-like flowers attract bees, bumblebees, and butterflies. It will look good among roses as well as in naturalistic steppe beds, perhaps with lower grasses. This calamint is generally more vigorous. It differs from other calamints with felted leaves by its record flowering length, stiff and shiny leaves, and also a larger number of flowers that do not form seeds and are therefore maximally durable. Sometimes sold under the cultivar name 'Triumphator'.
