Fresh flowers last a week in a vase, but you will get the most joy from dried ones. Harvest them fully open in dry weather and hang them upside down. They will keep their shape and remind you of summer all winter long.

The 'Nachtvlinder' variety, whose name translates as night moth, will enchant you with velvety flowers in a deep shade of plum purple. Its huge advantage is the incredibly long flowering period, which starts in May and often ends only with the arrival of stronger frosts in November. The entire plant is strongly aromatic and releases a pleasant spicy scent when touched. Furthermore, the flowers are edible and sweet, so they are perfectly suited as an unconventional garnish for summer salads or desserts. It will also attract a large number of bees and other beneficial insects to your garden.

Wild strawberry brings the magic of forest glades and sunny clearings to the garden, where it naturally occurs across all of Europe and northern Asia. This tiny but perennial herb is prized primarily for its incredibly aromatic fruits, which may not compete with cultivated garden strawberries in size, but easily surpass them in their intense flavor and aroma. Although it is often grown as an annual in our climate, it is actually a perennial that can withstand frosts down to minus seventeen degrees in a drier location. You will receive a mature plant in a pot, which you can easily transplant into a bed with a recommended spacing of forty centimeters. Its cultivation is undemanding and can be handled even by beginners. It can grow in a pot, freely in herb beds, or in rock gardens.
