Aster novae-angliae

Aster Harrington’s Pink

A classic perennial of Czech gardens, though originally from North America. In nature, it grows in thickets among taller plants and naturally loses its lower leaves early on the stem. Its cultivated varieties retain this characteristic. Therefore, in beds, we combine it with suitable perennials that will cover the lower parts well. The entire plant is coarsely hairy. It is a hardy and long-lived perennial and resists powdery mildew well. 'Harrington’s Pink' is a wild-found variety with 2.5 to 3.5 cm large, bright pink flowers with a yellow center. It belongs to later-flowering varieties. It lasts 7 to 10 days in a vase. Show full description

Cultivation

Tomu můžeme zabránit instalací opory a vyvázáním.
