Lemon creeping thyme is a fragrant perennial that will instantly surprise you with its fresh citrus scent. The native species grow on sunny, dry rocky slopes, which is why it performs best here in full sun and well-drained, rather sandy soil. It forms dense, low cushions twenty to thirty centimeters high, which become covered in a profusion of tiny pink flowers from June to July.
