Giant scabious is an imposing solitary perennial that will bring a striking vertical structure and natural wild charm to the garden. It comes from the mountain meadows of the Caucasus, which dictates its growing requirements. From the delivered seedling, a highly noticeable plant with a massive, sparsely branched growth will quickly grow in full sun or partial shade and humus-rich loamy soil. Given its dimensions, we recommend planting one piece per square meter. It commonly reaches a height of up to two and a half meters, yet it needs no support at all. From June to August, it forms scabiosa-like flowers in pastel yellow to lime colors on long stems. This creates a very effective contrast between the relatively massive bulk of green leaves and the airy, wiry stems with small flower heads. It resists frosts down to minus thirty-four degrees without any problems, does not suffer from diseases or pests, and easily self-seeds. It is a highly attractive lure for bees and other pollinators. Pure splendor! Thin, sturdy stems with umbel inflorescences resembling dill at their ends. On each stem, there are thousands of tiny blooms creating the effect of a veil or lace. This species of iris probably originates originally from the Mediterranean. It has long been a very popular ornamental garden plant, bred into many cultivars. Allegedly, the Celts already cultivated them, it was popular in the Middle Ages and became a heraldic plant. It lasts 3–7 days in a vase. Lugano has ivory white flowers with a sulphur-yellow throat and beards. It can repeat flowering once more in autumn.

Siberian bugloss is a hardy perennial that is unfazed even by the shady corners of the garden where other plants fail to thrive. It earned its name thanks to its tiny blue flowers, which are very similar to classic forget-me-nots and bloom in April and May. Unlike its more famous relative, the largeleaf bugloss, this species spreads a bit more vigorously and forms dense stands. Thanks to its underground rhizomes, it works as a great groundcover plant that reliably suppresses weeds under trees or shrubs. Once the plant finishes blooming, all its energy moves into the large, deep green heart-shaped leaves, which quickly grow to their final size. It is an ideal choice for beginners because it handles heavier clay soils excellently and tolerates short-term drought. Furthermore, the flowers are suitable for cutting into spring tied bouquets, where they look very tender and add lightness to the arrangement.

The dark black-burgundy shoots of this aster make it a true specialty. The leaves change color in late summer from dark green to burgundy. The white flowers have pink stamens. Lasts 7 to 10 days in a vase.

Meadowsweet 'Venusta' is a majestic perennial that will become the dominant feature of any moister flowerbed. Its homeland is the prairies of the eastern United States. The 'Venusta' cultivar is characterized by feathery paniculate inflorescences in a rich pink to raspberry color, which float at a height of up to one and a half meters in summer. Even though it is classified among short-lived perennials, it grows reliably in a sunny spot and seamlessly handles frosts below minus twenty degrees. During May and June, the thick stems are covered with a flood of bright yellow flowers. For bees, bumblebees, and plenty of other beneficial pollinators, mullein is a huge attraction and a rich source of food. If you enjoy making bouquets from your own garden, you will certainly appreciate that it is perfectly suited for cutting into summer vases, where it brings a bit of meadow relaxation. Monardas, or bee balms, originate from the eastern parts of North America. They most often grow along paths, in thickets, and on the edges of light forests. They are honey-bearing aromatic plants, perfectly usable for cutting and in the kitchen. We ensure good living conditions to prevent powdery mildew. Typical for the Monarda Beauty of Cobham is the distinct contrast between purple-violet bracts and soft pink flowers. Planting in full sun further strengthens the purple tinge of the leaves and stems. It is well resistant to powdery mildew.

Sedum Herbstfreude is a very hardy and long-lived perennial that offers an almost year-round effect. Pearly everlasting is an interesting perennial whose original homeland is the dry grassy and rocky slopes of the distant Himalayas. Thanks to its mountain origins, it is a hardy and undemanding plant that easily handles harsher frosts and will grow effortlessly in poor sandy and well-drained soil in full sun. Its silvery-grey foliage creates an interesting contrast in flower beds and perfectly complements various drought-tolerant plantings. From July to September, tiny pure white inflorescences appear above the leaves, resembling small buttons or tiny Strawflowers in their appearance. The plant is a great attraction for bees and butterflies, offering them an excellent pasture. The Neuschnee cultivar stands out with its absolutely pure, radiant white shade of flowers. Clematis 'Mrs R. Brydon' is an unusual and very resilient perennial that brings softness and color to the garden just as summer transitions into autumn. The original species comes from the shrubby and forest edges of East Asia, which is why a location in the sun or partial shade suits it well here too. It will thrive in loamy and humus-rich soil with regular watering. An interesting feature of this clematis is its variable growth. Hollyhocks are a necessity for every lover of rural atmosphere. We traditionally associate them with sunny cottage gardens, even though they came to Europe with ancient travelers along the Silk Road all the way from the steppes of Central Asia. And the taste for travel has remained with the hollyhock. It often self-seeds and you will find it in a place where you certainly didn't plant it. Naturally, it is a biennial or short-lived perennial. However, its instability is balanced by beautiful double flowers and a distinct silhouette and height. It is suitable for cutting and was also used for dyeing and as a medicinal plant. The Spotlight series includes cultivars with single flowers. Their great advantage, in addition to naturally better resistance of flowers to rain, is overall greater hardiness and persistence. They are more perennial than double-flowered forms, which retain the properties of biennials.

Meadow Sage occurs in our country primarily in warmer regions, especially in southern Moravia and northern and central Bohemia. It grows on sunny meadows, slopes, and along roadsides. The fragrant leaves form a basal rosette, from which several sparsely leafy, branched stems grow.
