Rudbeckia Goldsturm is a reliable and long-lived perennial that will bring the warm tones of late summer and autumn into your garden. It originally comes from the open plains and prairies of North America, so it delights most in sunny locations with common garden soil, whether it is loamy, humus-rich, or clayey. You will receive from us an already grown seedling in a pot, which you just need to transplant to the chosen spot in the flower bed. It does best long-term in well-drained, loamy, and humous soil, where it is provided with regular watering. The 'Floristan Violett' variety will brighten any space with a striking dark purple color. Its unusually shaped flowers appear gradually from July to September and confidently attract an abundance of beneficial bees, bumblebees, and butterflies to the garden. Blazing star grows to a height of sixty to ninety centimeters, and its sturdy stems with narrow green leaves stand perfectly straight even without artificial support. The long-lived perennial skullcap represents a great choice for greening up sunny and drier parts of the garden. Representatives of the Scutellaria genus naturally grow on sun-drenched plains with poorer, well-drained soil, from where they acquired their absolute undemanding nature and frost resistance. The 'Bumblebee Blues' variety is characterized by extremely dense growth. Already at the beginning of summer, it starts forming an unmissable flood of blue-purple flowers that bring joy until September. Skullcap does not require tying up, knows no diseases, and will reliably cozy up the edges of drought-tolerant flower beds or path borders. The 'Blue Glow' globe thistle is an impressive perennial that naturally grows in the region from southern Europe to Turkey and Central Asia. Thanks to its origin, it loves the sun and well-drained, even poorer sandy soils, where it thrives best. In the garden, it captivates with its architectural structure and silvery gray-green leaves, which form an interesting contrast to other plants. The spherical flowers in a royal blue shade are literally a magnet for bees, bumblebees, and butterflies, so with this plant, you will bring a lot of life into the garden. Paniculate baby's breath is originally a plant from the sandy steppes and slopes of southern Europe and central Asia, which has been grown in botanical gardens since the 18th century. Since the mid-19th century, it has also become naturalized in private gardens and became a classic cut perennial. In the garden, it applies excellently in modern-style steppe beds with grasses and drought-tolerant perennials, to which it adds airiness and lightness. A dense hemispherical shrub with smooth fresh green leaves that are lighter on the underside. Flowers in convex to hemispherical inflorescences with a diameter of 15–30 cm gradually change color from pale green and cream to pure white.

Anemones come from the same family as buttercups. With their elegant flowers on long slender stems, they can liven up and brighten late summer and autumn beds. They stand out against the darker background of shrub groups and will also be grateful for their partial shade. The Czech Perennial Association chose autumn Anemones as the perennial of the season for 2022. They last 7 days in a vase. Whirlwind is a historical variety bred in 1887 in the USA. It has a semi-double pure white flower, often with inner twisted petals, and compact, strictly upright growth. The flowers are very durable.

Sedum Herbstfreude is a very hardy and long-lived perennial that offers an almost year-round effect. The original sedum species grow in dry, rocky, and sunny habitats, so even in our gardens, it will welcome full sun and well-drained, sandy, or loamy soil. We will deliver a mature seedling in a pot, which you just need to transplant directly into the flowerbed. Thanks to its undemanding nature, it is absolutely ideal for beginners. It perfectly handles drought, does without support, and does not suffer from any diseases or pests. It can withstand even severe frosts dropping to minus twenty-eight degrees. It forms upright clumps with fleshy gray-green leaves, which are decorated with rich inflorescences from August to October. The Herbstfreude variety is one of the hardiest and most robust, blooming in captivating shades of old rose, terracotta, to deep burgundy. An original wild perennial with a large distribution area from Europe to Siberia. Suitable for natural and wild plantings. It grows in meadows and dry grassy places. A very adaptable and undemanding plant, it grows in clumps and spreads via runners. Cutting back after the first flowering encourages a new set of flowers. We harvest for bouquets when the florets are fully open. They last 10 days in a vase.

Switchgrass is a reliable long-lived perennial that brings lightness and movement to the garden. Its original home is the North American prairies, where it grows on sun-drenched plains in well-drained soil. Therefore, it will thrive best here in direct sunlight in loamy and well-drained soil. It grows to a height of about 120 centimeters and creates dense clumps of fresh green leaves. From August to October, delicate, airy inflorescences in green-brown tones float above them. In a flower bed, it works as an excellent companion for drought-tolerant plants, and in winter, it provides a magnificent effect when covered with frost. The green-brown panicles are also great for cutting to soften fresh bouquets in a vase, and you can also use them for dried floral arrangements.

Tufted hairgrass is an undemanding native grass that remains green even in winter. In nature, it grows in meadows and forest clearings. It forms a neat clump of leaves, from which grow delicate thin stems with transparent clouds of flowers. It adapts even to more difficult conditions, such as dry shade or compacted soil, and can handle waterlogging too. The Czech cultivar 'Pálava' is valuable for its extra-long flowering time from July to October. Unlike other cultivars, its flowers are sterile and do not create any seedlings. It is stated that it resists drought best of all tufted hairgrasses.

This species of sage originates from the steppe regions of Central and Eastern Europe. It forms profusely flowering small clumps with straight, upright stems. In flower beds, it looks best in groups. Traditionally, it is planted as a companion to roses due to the matching flowering time. However, it will look equally good in mixed drought-loving steppe plantings with grasses. It is excellent pasture for bees. It lasts 7 days in a vase. 'Schwellenburg' is a very special variety with a richly branched inflorescence. The little flowers have purple bracts and a wine-colored calyx.

The Tradescant White wood aster is a charming North American perennial that grows wild in forest clearings and along forest edges. It is an absolutely ideal choice for problematic shady and partially shaded areas of your garden. It can easily handle growing even under tree canopies, where it strongly stands its ground against the competition of their roots. You will receive a grown seedling in a pot from us, which you just need to transplant into loamy or sandy well-draining soil, and you can watch how it thrives. It forms dense clumps, but thanks to the thin wiry stems, it looks very delicate and airy. 'Marvel Parrot' is also a wonderful choice for florists and lovers of fresh-cut bouquets. The sturdy stems are made for cutting, and the rich, ruffled flowers will turn even a simple bouquet into a visual experience. For the vase, cut the stems when the buds are colored but not yet fully open.

Stock is a wonderful cut flower! It likes low temperatures, yet we grow three batches a year – two in spring and one in autumn. You harvest just one bloom per plant, but it is a really large, double one. Stock smells beautiful, almost intoxicating, and lasts a long time in a vase. The flowers are edible. The Katz series is not as susceptible to temperature changes, and is generally easier to grow for beginning gardeners. However, this comes at the cost of thinner stems and a lower percentage of double flowers. Katz Cherry Blossom is a soft shade of pink in the colors of apple blossoms. All stocks produce some plants with double flowers and some single. The ratio is different for each series. Katz has 55-60% double-flowered plants. We therefore recommend growing a bit more. At our farm, however, we use the single ones too; they look super unique.

Larkspurs are spring beauties that nothing compares to. However, if you want to harvest them for cut flowers, you must be vigilant and harvest quickly before all the buds open. They finish blooming quickly, especially during the warm springs of recent years, so we sow several batches 14 days apart just to keep up with the harvest. Larkspur QIS White is a soft white that fits beautifully into wedding floristry. You harvest one stronger stem and 4-5 smaller side stems from a single plant.
