 Kuklíky jsou roztomilé jarní trvalky s rozkošnými miskovitými kvítky v teplých barevných odstínech. Květy vyrůstají na dlouhých rozvětvených stoncích. Okvětní plátky bývají nařasené, květy poloplné. They are most effective in large-scale plantings. Due to their relatively late sprouting, it is good to combine them with early-flowering bulbs. They last 4–10 days in a vase. Harvest as soon as half of the inflorescence is in bloom. They are very sensitive to ethylene released from ripening fruit. 'Peach Blossom' has delicate pink flowers.

An original wild perennial with a large distribution area from Europe to Siberia. Suitable for natural and wild plantings. It grows in meadows and dry grassy areas. A very adaptable and undemanding plant, it grows in clumps and spreads by runners. Cutting it back after the first bloom will encourage new flowers. For bouquets, harvest when the flowers are fully open. It lasts 10 days in a vase.

Dropwort is a drought-tolerant native perennial that naturally handles very dry conditions thanks to its tuberous roots. It forms rosettes of finely dissected leaves. Its fragrant, milky-white inflorescences are floristically valuable. The buds are interesting, looking like tiny pearls, as is the post-bloom stage in the form of small stars. Cosmos Cherry Chocolate is a garden cultivar of the original wild species originating from Mexico. Due to its striking scent, it is also called chocolate cosmos. Besides its fragrance and unusual coloration, its great advantage is its long flowering period. In our conditions, it will thrive best in a pot on the terrace; we can also embed it with its pot into perennial beds and remove it for winter. Cherry Chocolate has the largest flowers of all chocolate cosmos – they are up to 7 cm in diameter.

Originally a plant from the sandy steppes and slopes of Southern Europe and Central Asia. Cultivated in botanical gardens since the 18th century. Common in private gardens since the mid-19th century. A classic perennial for cutting. In the garden, it can also be used in modern steppe beds with grasses and drought-tolerant perennials. 'Flamingo' has a pink, double flower.

It is found in almost all mountainous areas of Central and Southern Europe, in high-altitude meadows and bright clearings. It is suitable for natural plantings and can be used in rural submontane gardens with other robust species. It blooms blue and lasts about a week in a vase.

Coneflowers originate from North America, robust and profusely blooming perennials of late summer and autumn. They are suitable for prairie plantings with tall grasses and for rustic cottage gardens. Lady's mantle naturally grows in mountain pastures and meadows, and in mixed forests. It is ornamental both in leaf and flower. The leaves have fine hairs, giving the plant a velvety character. It is a perennial sought after by ancient alchemists for the dew drops that appear in the leaf fans. Valuable for florists for its abundance of tiny greenish-yellow flowers. Important in beds for its ground-covering nature. It lasts 10 days in a vase.

Brunnera is a long-lived perennial native to the mountain meadows and forests of the Caucasus. It is interesting not only when in bloom. The leaves are large, heart-shaped, and light green. They form a contrasting background for the delicate and small flowers that appear above the carpet of leaves from April to May. It sprouts early and retracts late, making it a valuable groundcover perennial.

Gaura is a clump-forming perennial native to Texas and Louisiana. Here, it behaves more like a short-lived perennial. It combines beautifully with grasses, adding lightness and airiness to flowerbeds. It is an excellent food source for insects. Tiny flowers, resembling small butterflies, bloom tirelessly from June until the first frosts. For bouquets, harvest as soon as the first two to three flowers open on the stem. Whirling Butterflies blooms with pure white flowers that gradually acquire a pink tint. The buds also tend to be pinkish. It is characterized by compact growth and abundant flowering.

This yarrow primarily grows in moist or wet habitats – wet meadows, springs, riverbanks, and pond edges. The flowers are semi-double with a grayish-yellow center. It lasts 10 days in a vase.

Baptisia originates from North America, belongs to the pea family (Fabaceae), and visually resembles lupine – the bigleaf lupine. However, unlike lupine, it doesn't suffer from fungal diseases and isn't as appealing to slugs. In addition to its blue flowers, the large pods that adorn the plant long after flowering are also interesting. North American Indians used baptisia roots to disinfect wounds and reduce fever, and the leaves for dyeing fabrics. Patience is key with baptisia; it takes some time to fully establish and develop a robust root system adapted to survive long periods of drought and fires. Then it is very long-lived. It was chosen as the Perennial of the Year for the 2019 season.

False Mallow is a beautiful long-blooming perennial. Its inflorescence resembles miniature hollyhocks or mallow. It pairs well with classic rose combinations as well as wilder beds with grasses.

Bleeding hearts are originally native to Korea and China, where they grow in bright deciduous forests. They are among the classic garden perennials. They will look perfect in nostalgically themed flower beds, and the white variant also fits into naturalistic woodland gardens. They are beloved for their heart-shaped flowers suspended on horizontal or arching stems. These fade and die back some time after flowering, with all the plant's energy concentrating into the roots, at which point the above-ground part can be completely cut back. For the rest of the year, you won't even notice the bleeding heart in the garden. It will remind us of its charm again in spring. Excellent vase life, at least 7 days. Harvest when the first 3-4 flowers open on the stem. The basic species has pinkish-white flowers. Shoots emerging in spring have a pinkish hue.

Fine, tiny leaves and well-branched long stems with a large number of small star-shaped flowers make this aster an ideal autumn cut flower. In beds, it serves as a fluffy, delicate filler and brightens the garden after the summer perennials have finished blooming. It will look good in combination with roses as well as in wild plantings with grasses. It is important for bees and butterflies as the last pasture before winter. It lasts 7 to 10 days in a vase. 'Lovely' is characterized by countless small, delicate pink flowers in loose panicles on strong, wiry stems.

Kalimeris originates from East Asia, where it grows in open, bright forests and meadows. It forms strong, upright clumps and is a healthy, very long-flowering perennial. Its flowers resemble autumn asters and complement them perfectly in beds, as it begins to bloom as early as July. Madiva has white flowers with a lilac tint.

Hair Grass is an undemanding native grass that remains green even in winter. In nature, it grows in meadows and forest clearings. It forms a compact clump of leaves from which delicate thin stems with transparent clouds of flowers emerge. It adapts to more difficult conditions such as dry shade or compacted soil and can even handle waterlogging. Goldschleier has very tiny spikelets in light yellow panicles. The inflorescence forms a fluffy, light yellow cloud above the clump of leaves.
