Dark Mullein is a native perennial and herb with medicinal properties. The leaves are dark green, arranged in a basal rosette. Unlike the original yellow-flowering species, the flowers of this form are pure white with purple, hairy stamens.

Phlox, also known as garden phlox, is originally a perennial native to North America. It soon achieved great popularity in European gardens and has been systematically bred since the 19th century. It is a classic perennial for cutting into bouquets, where, in addition to colorful flowers, it also delights with a gentle fragrance. We harvest as soon as roughly half of the flowers in the inflorescence have bloomed; then it lasts up to 10 days in a vase. Despite efforts to breed the most resistant cultivars possible, it remains true that phlox reacts extremely sensitively to climate and soil conditions, so we pay careful attention to the correct choice of location. Nora Leight attracts attention with creamy variegated leaves, which complement the delicate pinkish-white flowers with a darker eye. Thanks to the light foliage, it can brighten up darker corners of the garden.

Penstemon digitalis Husker Red is a relatively robust and long-lived perennial with attractive bronze-purple foliage and white-purple flowers. The decorative spent flower heads continue to adorn flowerbeds until winter. However, the plant can also be trimmed after flowering to encourage new growth. We recommend cutting back the Penstemon after flowering so it sprouts again. It lasts 5 to 7 days in a vase.

Phlomis is a valuable structural perennial that originates from the Greek islands and Turkey. It is also called Jerusalem sage. In plantings, it is used as a groundcover species and can even be successfully grown under trees. Both the flowers and stems with effective fruits are usable for cutting. If we do not cut them back in the autumn, they will adorn the beds throughout the winter, just like the dense carpet of leaves. Phlomis is also attractive to pollinators.

Garden cultivars of goldenrod are attractive and low-maintenance perennials bred from native North American wild species. Unlike them, however, they are not invasive and do not spread uncontrollably in flower beds. They are specially bred for cutting, which is why they are relatively tall, grow upright, and bloom profusely. For bouquets, we can harvest both freshly bloomed plants and stems with buds.
