Aster Rosa Erfüllung
The Italian aster 'Rosa Erfüllung' is exactly the perennial that will add fresh colors to your garden at a time when most summer flowers are already slowly fading. Its original homeland is the sunny and dry slopes or steppes of central and southern Europe, making it an extremely resilient plant. Therefore, in our gardens, it simply needs a spot in direct sun with well-drained, even poorer sandy soil. You will receive a grown seedling in a pot from us, which just needs to be transplanted straight into the flower bed. Here it will root very quickly and form a vigorous clump. It is a long-lived plant that even complete beginners can handle, because it does not suffer from diseases or pests and easily survives frosts down to minus twenty-eight degrees.
The 'Rosa Erfüllung' cultivar grows to a height of around half a meter and produces a flood of light pink flowers from August to October. These flowers not only brighten up autumn beds, but are also edible and reliably attract bees, bumblebees, and butterflies from the wide surroundings. The sturdy stems do not need any support and are excellent for cutting into a vase. In mixed bouquets, they bring a fine texture and stay fresh for about a week. Although it is not suitable for drying in winter arrangements, fresh bouquets from it bring joy to every interior. In the flower bed, it looks great in group plantings; we recommend planting roughly seven to nine plants per square meter. It fits perfectly into prairie and gravel beds, where it naturally complements lower ornamental grasses.

Hvězdnice chlumní 'Rosa Erfüllung' k vám dorazí jako vzrostlá sazenice v květináči, kterou můžete rovnou vysadit na trvalkové stanoviště. Pro úspěšné pěstování vyberte plné slunce, ideálně opravdu horké slunné místo, které simuluje její domovské stepní podmínky. Půda by měla být především propustná, klidně chudá, písčitá nebo štěrkovitá. Vyhněte se naopak těžké a jílovité zemině, kde by kořeny mohly uhnívat. Sazenice doporučujeme sázet do sponu 35 až 40 centimetrů, což odpovídá zhruba sedmi až devíti rostlinám na metr čtvereční. Tento rozestup zajistí dostatečnou cirkulaci vzduchu kolem každé rostliny. Ideální čas pro výsadbu je od jara do časného podzimu, aby rostlina stihla před zimou dobře zakořenit.
Péče o tuto dlouhověkou trvalku je nenáročná a zvládnou ji i úplní začátečníci. Co se týče vláhy, hvězdnice upřednostňuje spíše suchá místa. Po zakořenění vyžaduje zálivku pouze během velmi dlouhých a horkých období bez deště. Příliš mnoho vody nebo přehnojování by vedlo k vytáhlému a slabému růstu. Na přirozeně chudších půdách si udrží pevné stonky, které dorůstají do výšky 40 až 60 centimetrů a nepotřebují žádnou oporu. Během srpna až října vás odmění záplavou světle růžových, dokonce jedlých květů. Pravidelné odstraňování odkvetlých výhonů podpoří vitalitu rostliny a celkově prodlouží atraktivní vzhled trsu. Suché stonky doporučujeme ponechat na záhonu přes zimu jako přirozenou ochranu a provést zpětný řez těsně nad zemí až brzy na jaře.
Mrazuvzdornost této odrůdy je naprosto vynikající, bez problémů snese teploty klesající až k minus osmadvaceti stupňům a nevyžaduje žádnou speciální zimní přikrývku. Velkou výhodou je také její odolnost vůči zdravotním neduhům, je to zkrátka rostlina zcela bez chorob a bez škůdců. Pokud nemáte k dispozici zahradu, můžete ji s úspěchem pěstovat i v nádobách nebo objemných truhlících. Zde je klíčový výběr nádoby s dostatečně velkými odtokovými otvory a použití substrátu smíchaného s pískem či jemným štěrkem pro dokonalou drenáž. V květináči bude substrát vysychat rychleji než ve volné půdě, proto zálivku pravidelně kontrolujte, ale stále platí, že by zemina měla mezi zaléváním mírně proschnout.

An undemanding and modest perennial that blooms with a large number of tiny flowers. It blooms for a record-breaking length of time throughout late summer and autumn. It forms smaller, compact, airy bushes that release a minty-spicy scent. The thyme-like flowers attract bees, bumblebees, and butterflies. It will look good among roses as well as in naturalistic steppe beds, perhaps with lower grasses. This calamint is generally more vigorous. It differs from other calamints with felted leaves by its record flowering length, stiff and shiny leaves, and also a larger number of flowers that do not form seeds and are therefore maximally durable. Sometimes sold under the cultivar name 'Triumphator'.

Macedonian scabious is an abundantly and long-blooming, undemanding perennial that will bring the untamed charm of summer meadows to the garden. Its wild form originates from the sun-drenched Balkans, where it naturally grows on sunny hillsides and in warm thickets. You will receive from us a mature seedling in a pot, which just needs to be transplanted into well-drained loamy or sandy soil in the sun or partial shade. Here it will quickly take root and form a vigorous clump. The Red Knight cultivar enchants with slender stems up to ninety centimeters tall, which all summer from June to September carry a flood of dark burgundy to deep wine-red flowers. These edible flowers act as a huge attraction for bees, bumblebees, and other insects. The plant is an ideal choice for beginners because it reliably resists frosts down to minus twenty-eight degrees and does not suffer from any pests or diseases. Although it belongs to short-lived perennials, in a suitable place it gladly self-seeds. It will fit perfectly into naturalistically designed plantings with ornamental grasses and is popularly used in sweeping meadow bouquets. We recommend cutting the flowers fully open; they will then stay beautifully fresh in a vase for several days.

Perovskia are sparsely branched subshrubs, originating from areas ranging from Afghanistan to Tibet. They grow in open, sunny, rocky, and stony habitats. Their white-felted shoots and grayish aromatic leaves are striking. They fit well in sunny flower beds with other drought-loving perennials, where they create interesting structures even in the winter months. Little Spire is a smaller cultivar suitable even for pots with a soil volume of 7 liters or more.
