Gaura lindheimeri

Gaura is a clump-forming perennial native to Texas and Louisiana. Here, it behaves more like a short-lived perennial. It combines beautifully with grasses and adds lightness and airiness to flower beds. It is an excellent food source for insects. Tiny flowers resembling small butterflies bloom tirelessly from June until the first frosts. For bouquets, harvest as soon as the first two or three flowers open on the stem. Siskiyou Pink is a beautiful variety with pink-red flowers on slightly arching stems. It is less hardy than the white-flowering varieties. The red-spotted leaves are also interesting.

Stipa tenuissima

Feather grass flowers capture attention in beds and bouquets with their lightness and delicacy. All feather grasses love full sun and dry, stony, well-drained soil. To look most natural in beds, it is good to plant them in loose groups of several pieces together with other drought-loving perennials and bulbs. Only then do their stems and inflorescences, set in motion by the slightest breath of wind, truly stand out. Stipa 'Ponny Tails' is a species native to the steppes of Mexico, Texas, and Patagonia. Airy, dense clumps of hair-like delicate leaves resemble horsehair. The leaves are green, turning up to straw-colored towards the flowers. In a suitable location, it also self-seeds.

We harvest for bouquets as soon as a quarter or half of the flowers on the stem are open. They last 7 days in a vase. Geum rivale is an original native perennial. It grows naturally on the banks of streams and in wet meadows. It has yellowish flowers with a pink tinge, and the calyx is purplish.

Phlox paniculata

Phlox is a perennial originally native to North America. It soon achieved great popularity in European gardens and has been systematically bred since the 19th century. It is a classic perennial for cut bouquets, where it delights with a delicate fragrance in addition to colorful flowers. We harvest as soon as roughly half of the flowers in the inflorescence are open; then it lasts up to 10 days in a vase. Despite efforts to breed the most resistant cultivars possible, it remains true that Phlox reacts extremely sensitively to climate and soil conditions, so we pay careful attention to the correct choice of location. The Franz Schubert cultivar has pastel lilac flowers that fade towards the edge. The delicate flower color looks especially beautiful in combination with dark-leaved plants. It smells lovely.

A classic perennial of Czech gardens, although originally from North America. In nature, it grows in thickets among taller plants and naturally loses leaves on the lower part of the stem very early. Cultivation

The information given is based on our experience, please use it as a guide only. Salvia hybrida

Její aromatické listy a květy plné nektaru přitahují užitečný hmyz, takže zahrada s ní doslova ožije. Pokud odkvetlá květenství sestřihnete, podpoříte hustotu trsu a rostlina často remontuje a vykvete znovu koncem léta. Díky své odolnosti a mrazuvzdornosti až do -28 °C je spolehlivou součástí českých zahrad. Květy lze použít i do vázy, kde tvoří jemný, romantický prvek.

Salvia reptans

Salvia gregii

Odrůda Dancing Dolls vnáší do výsadeb hravost a jemnost díky unikátnímu zbarvení květů, které střídají tóny pastelově růžové s krémově bílou.

Původní druhy této šalvěje pocházejí ze suchých a slunných oblastí Texasu a Mexika, což z ní dělá milovnici slunce a tepla.

An undemanding and modest perennial that blooms with a large number of tiny flowers. It blooms for a record-breaking length of time throughout late summer and autumn. It will look good among roses as well as in naturalistic steppe beds, perhaps with lower grasses. This calamint is generally more vigorous. Hellebores are evergreen perennials that form slowly spreading clumps of leathery, dark green leaves. The stems usually bear four to five flowers. They bloom very early, as early as late winter and early spring. They are usable for vases only after conspicuous seed pods form in the center of the flower and the flower matures. Earlier, they tend to wilt and the stems cannot hold the flower in an upright position. All parts of the plant are poisonous. Double Ellen White is an almost pure white, double-flowered hellebore. The petals are slightly wavy and the bottom row of petals is lightly tinged with green.
