Helleborus orientalis

Hellebore Color Mix

Show full description

Helleborus orientalis

Hellebores are evergreen perennials that form slowly spreading clumps of leathery, dark green leaves. The stems usually bear four to five flowers. They bloom very early, as early as late winter and early spring. They are usable for vases only after conspicuous seed pods form in the center of the flower and the flower matures. Earlier, they tend to wilt and the stems cannot hold the flower in an upright position. All parts of the plant are poisonous. The semi-double flowers of the hellebore Double Ellen Picotee color into white and light pink with purple-burgundy edging.

Digitalis purpurea

Originally a native species of Central Europe from clearings, damp meadows, and bright forest edges. Usually a biennial or short-lived perennial. In the first year in autumn, the plant forms a basal rosette of leaves; in spring, flowering stems grow from them. Further development depends on the location we choose for it. Somewhere it survives another season, elsewhere we must rely on self-seeding or plant new plants. All parts of the foxglove are poisonous. It lasts 6 to 8 days in a vase.

Verbena bonariensis

A verbena species originally from South America. In our country, it is often used as an annual, but in mild winters it can overwinter and reproduce by self-seeding. The firm, airy stems beautifully soften perennial beds and make them special with their purple color. It beautifully complements steppe plantings with grasses and rose beds.

Geums are cute spring perennials with adorable cup-shaped flowers in warm color shades. Flowers grow on long branched stems. Petals are usually ruffled, flowers semi-double. For bouquets, we harvest as soon as a quarter or half of the flowers on the stem are open. They last 7 days in a vase. Totally Tangerine begins to bloom later than other Geums, but unlike them, it blooms throughout the entire summer. Cultivation

Nové květy tak lépe vyniknou a likvidací starých listů zároveň předejdete šíření chorob.
