Vaše nová sazenice slézovce 'White Angel' se stane dominantou zahrady, pokud jí připravíte vhodné podmínky hned při výsadbě. Vyberte pro ni teplé, slunné místo chráněné před silným větrem. Půda musí být především propustná a hlinitá, nikoliv však chudá na živiny. Při výsadbě do volné půdy dodržujte dostatečný rozestup (1 až 2 rostliny na metr čtvereční), aby se tento až metr a půl vysoký keř mohl plně rozvinout. Pokud nemáte na zahradě ideální půdu, můžete slézovec pěstovat i ve velkém květináči na terase. V takovém případě nezapomeňte na dno nádoby nasypat vrstvu štěrku nebo keramzitu pro odvod přebytečné vody a použijte kvalitní substrát pro balkonové rostliny. Pěstování v nádobě má také výhodu snadnějšího přezimování, jelikož rostlinu jednoduše schováte před silnými mrazy.
Aby byl 'White Angel' skutečně obsypán sněhově bílými květy připomínajícími ibišek, potřebuje v době růstu a kvetení dostatek živin. Přihnojujte jednou za 14 dní tekutým hnojivem s vyšším obsahem fosforu a draslíku. Květy jsou nejen krásné a lákají včely, ale jsou i jedlé, takže pokud nepoužíváte chemickou ochranu proti škůdcům, můžete jimi zdobit letní dezerty. Pozor si dejte na mšice, které se rády usazují na mladých výhonech a poupatech. Pravidelná kontrola rostliny vám umožní zasáhnout dříve, než se škůdci přemnoží. Pokud pěstujete rostlinu primárně pro okrasu, nezapomeňte, že stonky slézovce jsou skvělé i k řezu do vázy, kde vydrží svěží několik dní.
S příchodem podzimu a zimy je třeba myslet na to, že tato rostlina pochází z teplejších krajů a její mrazuvzdornost je omezená (do -12 °C). Pokud ji pěstujete v záhonu, je nezbytné kořeny chránit vysokou vrstvou nastýlky z listí nebo chvojí. Nadzemní část rostliny s příchodem mrazů odumře nebo ji můžete sami zakrátit, ale důležité je ochránit „srdce“ rostliny pod zemí. V chladnějších polohách se často pěstuje jen jako letnička, nebo je nutné ji na zimu vykopat a uskladnit podobně jako jiné citlivé rostliny. A very adaptable and undemanding plant, it grows in clumps and spreads via runners. Cutting back after the first bloom encourages a new set of flowers. Harvest for bouquets when the tiny flowers are fully open. It lasts 10 days in a vase. Terracotta features ochre, shades of orange and yellow, and gray-green foliage.

Calamintha nepeta ssp. nepeta
Calamint
An undemanding and modest perennial that blooms with a large number of tiny flowers. It blooms for a record-breaking length of time throughout late summer and autumn. It forms smaller, compact, airy bushes that release a minty-spicy scent. The thyme-like flowers attract bees, bumblebees, and butterflies. It will look good among roses as well as in naturalistic steppe beds, perhaps with lower grasses. This calamint is generally more vigorous. It differs from other calamints with felted leaves by its record flowering length, stiff and shiny leaves, and also a larger number of flowers that do not form seeds and are therefore maximally durable. Sometimes sold under the cultivar name 'Triumphator'.

Anemones come from the same family as buttercups. With their elegant flowers on long slender stems, they can liven up and brighten late summer and autumn beds. They stand out against the darker background of shrub groups and will also be grateful for their partial shade. The Czech Perennial Association chose autumn Anemones as the perennial of the season for 2022. They last 7 days in a vase. Whirlwind is a historical variety bred in 1887 in the USA. It has a semi-double pure white flower, often with inner twisted petals, and compact, strictly upright growth. The flowers are very durable.
