The Mai Tai cultivar, which was bred in the USA in 2005, is characterized by its amazing color variability. It blooms in peach tones with a pink tint and gradually transitions into more muted pastel, salmon, and apricot shades. Blooming avens is a huge attraction for insects, especially for butterflies. We cut the stems for a vase when roughly a quarter to half of the flowers on the stem are open. Cultivation
Pěstování kuklíku zvládne hravě i úplný začátečník. Sazenici stačí po doručení přesadit na předem vybrané místo. Nejlépe se jí bude dařit na přímém slunci nebo v polostínu, ideálně v propustné, hlinité a dostatečně humózní půdě. Při plánování záhonu pamatujte na dodržení správných rozestupů. Doporučujeme sázet rostliny ve sponu 30 cm, což vychází zhruba na 9 až 12 sazenic na metr čtvereční. Tento prostor je velmi důležitý pro proudění vzduchu mezi listy. Ačkoliv je kuklík známý tím, že netrpí na běžné choroby ani škůdce, v příliš zahuštěné výsadbě a v kombinaci s trvale přemokřenou půdou by mohl být náchylnější k padlí.
Od května do července vás rostlina odmění záplavou miskovitých květů, které se mění ze žluté do broskvové. Tyto květy fungují jako skutečný magnet pro užitečné opylovače. Abyste se z této krásy těšili co nejdéle, doporučujeme průběžně odstřihávat odkvetlé výhony. Tím rostlinu ušetříte zbytečného vysilování při tvorbě semen a podpoříte rašení nových poupat. Rostlina se navíc sama nepřesévá. Zálivku volte mírnou až střední, půda by měla mezi jednotlivým zaléváním lehce proschnout. Během jara můžete rostlinám přilepšit dávkou kompostu. Ačkoliv jde o trvalku, nepatří k těm dlouhověkým. Její vitalitu snadno obnovíte tím, že na jaře přibližně každé tři roky husté trsy vykopete, rozdělíte a znovu zasadíte.
Jednou z obrovských výhod tohoto druhu je excelentní mrazuvzdornost. Rostlina snese teploty hluboko pod bodem mrazu, konkrétně až do -28 °C. Před příchodem zimy není potřeba žádný speciální řez ani zakrývání chvojím. Naopak, listová růžice zůstává i během chladných měsíců zelená a poskytuje tak záhonům jemný zimní efekt. Zákazníci se často ptají na možnost pěstování na terasách, a odpověď je ano – kuklík výborně prosperuje i v nádobách a truhlících. Zde ale dbejte na to, aby měla nádoba dobrou odtokovou dírku. Doporučujeme smíchat substrát s trochou písku nebo perlitu, aby voda po zálivce rychle odtékala a kořeny ve stojaté vodě nezačaly uhnívat.

Water avens is a charming native perennial that inherently belongs to moist meadows and stream banks. In the garden, it thrives best in loamy or clay soil that retains plenty of moisture. It grows excellently in both full sun and partial shade. You will receive a well-rooted seedling in a pot from us, which you simply transplant into the flower bed, where it will soon form a nice ground cover. From May to July, it blooms with semi-double flowers on stems thirty to sixty centimeters tall. They have a cup-like shape and play with pastel yellow, dusty pink, and cream shades with a purplish calyx. Unlike cultivated garden avens, it differs in the structure of its flowers, which droop on the stems like delicate little bells. The edible flowers reliably attract pollinators. Although it is a short-lived perennial, it willingly self-seeds, requires no support, and playfully handles severe frosts. Moreover, it does not suffer from diseases or pests. The faded seed heads decorate the garden even through the winter. Water avens is great for spring bouquets; we cut the stems when a quarter to a half of the flowers are open. Rudbeckia Goldsturm is a reliable and long-lived perennial that will bring the warm tones of late summer and autumn into your garden. It originally comes from the open plains and prairies of North America, so it delights most in sunny locations with common garden soil, whether it is loamy, humus-rich, or clayey. You will receive from us an already grown seedling in a pot, which you just need to transplant to the chosen spot in the flower bed. It is a completely undemanding plant, does not suffer from diseases or pests, and easily survives severe frosts. The Goldsturm cultivar grows to a height of about seventy centimeters and does not need support. From August to October, it produces a flood of golden-yellow flowers with distinctly dark centers. These edible flowers attract pollinators and fit perfectly into both prairie and rustic plantings. Rudbeckia is also great for cutting, lasting around ten days in a vase. In addition, the distinctive dark centers can be easily dried. If you leave them in the flower bed over the winter, they will provide a wonderful spectacle.

Although gaura is known as a short-lived perennial, thanks to its willing self-seeding, it will last for many years in your garden. Its original homeland is the sunny and dry slopes of Southern Europe, which is why it thrives best here in direct sun in well-drained, sandy, or poorer loamy soil. It handles winter without problems, tolerating frosts down to minus twenty-three degrees. You will receive a grown seedling in a pot from us, which you just need to transplant straight into the flowerbed, where it will very soon form a compact, airy small shrub reaching a height of up to forty centimeters. It does not suffer from any diseases or pests, so even complete beginners can easily handle caring for it.
