It likes plenty of moisture, so regular watering and soil that does not dry out are the basis for success. It will perfectly fit into country and naturally styled gardens, where it will grow without problems for many years.
You will receive an already mature seedling in a pot from us, which you just need to transplant straight into the flowerbed. You don't have to worry about complex care; even beginners can easily handle growing it. The plant does not require support, even though it grows to a height of over one meter, and it easily handles even very severe frosts. Common pests avoid it, just occasionally watch out for powdery mildew if it's too humid and warm in summer without sufficient air circulation. It is a strong and resilient plant that easily finds its solid place in the garden.
The Erica variety boasts dark pink buds, from which light pink flowers arranged in slender upright spikes open from July to September. These flowers act as a huge attraction for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. The stable clumps are not cut in autumn because the bloomed seed heads hold their shape and create a beautiful winter detail, especially when covered with snow or morning frost. If you like to decorate your home, you can cut the spikes into a vase, where they will continue to bring joy for about seven days. However, these flowers are not suitable for drying, so it is better not to use them for dried arrangements.
