You will receive a rooted seedling from us, which you can easily transplant according to your needs. Given its origin, it loves full sun and well-drained, slightly moist soil. It grows as a short-lived perennial, and because it only tolerates frost down to about minus twelve degrees, it is most often grown as a portable container plant. It looks great in a large pot on a balcony or terrace, but you can also hide it with the container in a flower bed among ornamental grasses, where it will bloom continuously from July to October.
