Plants can occasionally be susceptible to gray mold (Botrytis cinerea), which manifests as unsightly brown spots on the leaves and flowers.

They are also threatened by mosaic virus, which causes irregular streaking of the flowers and a general weakening of the plant. The best prevention against these diseases is purchasing large, healthy bulbs and planting them in airy, well-draining soil.

Thanks to its sturdy stems and attractive double flowers, it lasts a very long time in a vase. It is best to cut them early in the morning. Unfortunately, these flowers are not suitable for drying at all, as they lose their shape and beautiful color if you try to dry them.

Unfortunately, the Sugar Crystal tulip is not aromatic, so do not expect any fragrance from it.
