The name of the cultivar hides the Japanese word for fireworks and the English expression for a bee, which perfectly captures its essence. It offers an explosion of flowers thanks to unusually rich branching and acts as an irresistible lure for pollinators. From us, you will receive a mature seedling in a pot, which just needs to be transplanted into the flowerbed. The ideal spacing for planting is forty centimeters. It will thrive best in partial shade or on the sun, in well-draining and loamy soil. Although it is a short-lived perennial, even beginners will playfully manage the care. It does not suffer from diseases or pests and survives severe frosts without difficulty. In a suitable place, it reliably self-seeds. Just remember that the entire plant is poisonous. Pokud si chcete tuto krásu užít i na balkoně, náprstník se dá velmi úspěšně pěstovat také v objemných truhlících nebo květináčích. Klíčem k úspěchu je dostatečně velká nádoba s dobrou drenáží a propustný substrát zabraňující uhnívání kořenů. V nádobách zemina logicky vysychá rychleji, proto je zde pravidelná zálivka a občasné tekuté přihnojení naprostou nutností. Ať už náprstník pěstujete v záhonu nebo na terase, zimy se rozhodně bát nemusíte. Je vysoce mrazuvzdorný až do úctyhodných -28 °C. Jde o krátkověkou trvalku, jejíž přízemní růžice stálezelených listů přetrvávají do další sezóny. Tyto listy všem pěstitelům doporučujeme chránit:
- Před příchodem prvních silnějších mrazů je lehce přikryjte chvojím.
