Tato vytrvalá rostlina spolehlivě oživí chladnější a stinná místa vaší zahrady. Vyhovuje jí polostín až stín a nejlépe poroste v hlinité, dobře propustné a humózní půdě. Při plánování výsadby počítejte s tím, že rostlina dosahuje výšky 30 až 50 centimetrů. Sazenice sázejte ve sponu zhruba sedm až devět kusů na metr čtvereční, čímž rostlinám dopřejete dostatek místa a zároveň časem získáte souvislý zelený podrost. V případě pěstování na balkóně či terase postačí větší truhlík s dobrým odtokem a kvalitní zeminou. Pěstování v truhlíku vyžaduje pouze pravidelnější kontrolu vlhkosti, protože půda zde vysychá rychleji než ve volném záhoně.
Péče během vegetačního období je skutečně minimální a rostlina přináší řadu skvělých benefitů pro vaši zahradu:
  • Dlouhé kvetení: Od května do října se neustále objevují nádherné lila a narůžovělé květy.
  • Vysoká odolnost: Rostlina netrpí na škůdce ani choroby, roste po celou sezónu naprosto zdravě a vitálně.
  • Atraktivita pro opylovače: Na stinných místech se stane přirozeným magnetem pro včely i motýly.

Příprava na zimu vás s touto dlouhověkou trvalkou nebude stát vůbec žádný čas. Kakost se pyšní vynikající mrazuvzdorností a bezpečně přečká mrazy až do minus třiadvaceti stupňů, což odpovídá klimatické zóně 6a. Nepotřebuje žádnou zimní ochranu, textilie ani mulčování. Na jaře před rašením pouze odstraňte suché listy, abyste udrželi trs čistý a prodyšný. Kakost se na vhodném stanovišti jemně přesévá, čímž přirozeně a nenásilně zahušťuje porost. Vzhledem k tomu, že je rostlina jedlá a zcela bezpečná, nemusíte se bát jejího pěstování v okolí malých dětí nebo domácích mazlíčků.

The cultivar Caradonna stands out with a long flowering period and dark, almost black-purple stems with tiny purple flowers and dark purple bracts. Anemones come from the same family as buttercups. With their elegant flowers on long slender stems, they can liven up and brighten late summer and autumn beds. They stand out against the darker background of shrub groups and will also be grateful for their partial shade. The Czech Perennial Association chose autumn Anemones as the perennial of the season for 2022. They last 7 days in a vase. Whirlwind is a historical variety bred in 1887 in the USA. It has a semi-double pure white flower, often with inner twisted petals, and compact, strictly upright growth. The flowers are very durable.

Achillea filipendulina

Fernleaf Yarrow originates from the Caucasus and Central Asia. Unlike Common Yarrow, it grows in clumps and is also suitable for drying. Cutting back soon after flowering encourages re-blooming. However, if you decide to leave the spent stems in the beds, you gain a perfect structure that remains impressive long into winter. The leaves of this species emit a typical bitter Yarrow aroma. It lasts 10 days in a vase.
