Allium Millennium

This attractive, originally wild species comes from southern Turkey and Syria. Its flowers are not as opulent as those of large-flowered varieties. They look like delicate pink-purple sparklers on long, slender stems. In flower beds, they are useful in steppe-style plantings. They are perfect for cutting, both fresh and dried. They last 14 days in a vase.

This allium comes from the Mediterranean, where it naturally grows in dry steppe communities. Delicate star-shaped flowers in a pure white color grow on upright stems. In gardens, it is beautiful with drought-loving grasses and herbs. It lasts up to 14 days in a vase.

A summer flowering allium with very good drought tolerance. Native to Southern Europe. Its inflorescences are semi-spherical, about 8-10 cm wide. The individual florets are creamy white with green centers.

A tulip that needs to be planted in larger groups for the full effect. The color is a richer pink, with petal tips that are fringed and pale pink. The result is delicate and unique. It is definitely suitable for wedding floristry!

Sicilian honey garlic forms a basal rosette of broad, matte green leaves. Its true ornament, however, are the slender stems, over a meter tall, topped with a fountain of drooping bell-shaped flowers. They retain their ornamental value even after flowering; the dry flowers with interesting seed pods are useful in dried bouquets. Its origin ensures good tolerance of dry summer periods. The flower color is variable; you will discover carmine red, caramel, and yellowish tones.

The flowers are giant, reaching the size of an orange. It is the premier tulip that looks impressive even as a bud. In terms of color, it is a mix of different shades, so you will appreciate it most in larger quantities and in a group. From red, through red-yellow, to yellow-red. It will definitely create an energetic and cheerful flowerbed.

Triteleias are charming and delicate bulbous perennials. A cluster of airy bell-shaped flowers grows from thin yet strong stems. Originally a North American perennial, it appreciates a sunny spot in the garden. It will look excellent accompanied by drought-loving thymes, aromatic herbs, and low grasses. The double-flowered Triteleia Aquarius has bright blue flowers. The florets open wide, creating the impression of little stars.

Most daffodils have an orange or yellow center, but soft pastel colors have been trendy lately. For several years now, we have been hunting and searching, exploring every powdery, salmon, and apricot daffodil we can get our hands on. And this year, finally a hit! Palmares is a single daffodil, but the central petals are ruffled, so it gives a double impression. The color—we report powdery peach!

The three-cornered leek combines the qualities of a beautiful plant and a useful culinary herb. All parts are edible. You can use the green, flat, strap-like leaves as well as the triangular stems with flowers. The triangular cross-section of the stems, the leaf shape, and the characteristic green stripe on the white flower—and of course the garlic aroma—distinguish this allium from the white-flowering bluebell, with which it could potentially be confused, and which is not edible.

We have been growing tulips from the Impression family on our farm from the very beginning and we swear by them. In our opinion, they belong among the most beautiful single tulips ever. Strong growth, very long stems, and a beautiful shade of deep apricot.

Color-wise, it's not a trendy item; it is a deep, flashy pink. But! First, it is a reliable and hardworking double tulip, simply a great harvest! And second, we found that after a long winter, one actually appreciates bold colors. We give it a big thumbs up! Oh, and it is one of the first to bloom.

A rare species of Allium originating from Central Asia. It has wonderful sky-blue flowers with a darker indigo central vein and lighter to almost white centers. As it finishes blooming, the color transitions to lavender-gray. It will look natural planted in smaller groups in the garden.

The king of daffodils! It blooms later than other daffodils, but rewards you with a profusion of tiny double flowers with a wonderful scent. Several cream-colored blooms with a double-flowered soft orange center grow on each long stem. An indispensable part of every spring flowerbed and bouquet.

A beautiful Allium originating from the Balkans for a dry spot and full sun. It is striking for the exceptionally dark color of its hemispherical flower heads with individual star-shaped flowers.

Mountain garlic (or German garlic) is an undemanding yet very valuable allium for flower beds. Its leaves remain beautifully green throughout the season until well into winter. It sprouts early in spring, filling empty spaces in the beds with its foliage. This is followed in July and August by light purple flowers. It is suitable for rock gardens and container growing. And although its stems are not very long, it is also excellent for cutting.

The 'Mount Everest' allium is a remarkable result of Dutch breeding. Its individual snow-white florets with narrow petals are arranged into giant spheres. The tall stems are sturdy and upright.

The Spanish Bluebell is a beautiful bulbous plant native to southwestern Europe, where it grows in light deciduous forests. Multiple leaves grow from the bulb, but only one flower stalk. The plant propagates well on its own in the right location via daughter bulbs and seeds, creating colonies. It blooms from May to June. The leaves die back soon after flowering. For the longest vase life, it is best to harvest them just before the florets open. Then they last up to 14 days in a vase.

An absolute gem. Amazing coloring in cranberry red with fringed ends of the petals. The flowers are full and dense, which adds an impression of beauty and luxury.

The Alpine squill originates from Asia Minor and Central and Southern Europe, gradually finding its way into our gardens since the 16th century. In the garden, it is excellent for naturalizing under deciduous shrubs and trees, but also for use in meadows and lawns, where it willingly creates carpets of blue flowers. It blooms as early as March and, despite its low stature, creates an incredible effect, especially when planted in larger groups. Compared to the Siberian squill, the flower color is more subtle, the overall appearance is more delicate, and the flowering time is earlier.

Statice is a classic from grandma's garden, but also an evergreen of dried flowers. We grow statice by the hundreds! It is incredibly useful in bouquets as filler material and even undried lasts a long time in a vase. Once all the florets on the stem bloom, statice no longer wilts and is suitable for wreaths, corsages, boutonnieres. One plant produces at least 15 stems. For drying, we harvest statice at the stage when the stem under the flower is firm and the entire inflorescence has bloomed. Just hang them upside down, in a dry and ventilated place, out of sunlight.

Cosmos are one of the most popular flowers on our farm. They resemble Daisies and customers love them. And now imagine that such a hit comes in a double-flowered version! Absolutely magnificent! A flood of flowers resembling cotton candy; the Bicolor pink variant is full of soft pink shades. Some blooms are cool pink and others are in a warm blush color. One plant produces at least 12 stems.

Cosmos are our favorites, but we missed some color variety with them. They used to be available only in white and pink. Now, finally, a piece in shades of pink-orange-yellow-peach. We just have to have this one.

The 'White Giant' allium belongs to the largest alliums, featuring large white spherical flowers. Sunny but sheltered spots are ideal for it to prevent the tall stems from breaking.
