Obrovskou výhodou této odrůdy je její vynikající zdravotní stav – je totiž přirozeně zcela bez chorob. Během pěstování si stačí dát pozor pouze na občasný výskyt mandelinky mátové, kterou lze při zjištění snadno mechanicky odstranit. Rostlina je navíc extrémně mrazuvzdorná (klimatická zóna 6a) a hravě odolá silným mrazům až do -23 °C. Na záhoně přečká zimu bez jakékoliv speciální ochrany.
