With a height of just three centimeters, Corsican mint is guaranteed to be the smallest mint you have ever seen. It naturally grows in southern Europe, primarily in France and on the islands of Corsica and Sardinia. There, it forms low and beautifully green carpets that release an unmistakable minty scent at the slightest touch. It is a reliable perennial that you will receive from us as a grown seedling in a pot, ready to be transplanted straight into the garden. In it, it is best suited to sheltered places in partial shade or shade, where it has normal loamy and well-drained soil available. It is excellently suited as undergrowth under taller shrubs, for edging pathways, or for growing in containers on the terrace. From June to August, it blooms with tiny pink flowers that willingly attract pollinators. V květináči jí totiž snadno zajistíte dokonalou drenáž pomocí štěrku nebo keramzitu a na zimu ji můžete jednoduše přesunout na chráněné místo pod stříšku, kde na ni nebude pršet a sněžit. Výhodou pěstování v nádobách je navíc fakt, že budete mít její jedlé a silně aromatické lístky neustále na dosah ruky, což oceníte zejména při letním grilování nebo přípravě osvěžujících dezertů.
