Narcis Stainless je nádherná jarní cibulovina s čistě bílými voňavými květy, která je naprosto ideální pro úplné začátečníky. Pro úspěšné pěstování vyberte slunné stanoviště nebo lehký polostín. Základem je dobře propustná, hlinitá a na humus bohatá půda. Zamezte sázení do těžkých a trvale zamokřených půd, kde by mohlo hrozit uhnívání. Vzhledem k tomu, že jde o odrůdu dodávanou v podobě těch největších cibulí, můžete se těšit na opravdu silné a vitální rostliny dosahující výšky 40 až 50 centimetrů. Pokud cibule nebudete sázet hned po doručení, uskladněte je před výsadbou na suchém, temném a chladném místě s dobrou cirkulací vzduchu.
Samotná výsadba probíhá během podzimních měsíců, ideálně v září, říjnu nebo listopadu, než půda zamrzne. Cibule sázejte do hloubky 10 až 15 centimetrů, přičemž špička cibule musí směřovat vždy nahoru. Ideální spon pro výsadbu je 10 až 15 centimetrů od sebe, což odpovídá zhruba 40 až 60 cibulím na jeden metr čtvereční. Po zasazení půdu jemně přimáčkněte a důkladně zalijte, aby cibule mohly do zimy dobře zakořenit. Během vegetačního období na jaře udržujte půdu mírně vlhkou, ale vyhněte se zbytečnému přelévání.
Když se v dubnu a květnu objeví roztomilé květy se zaoblenými plátky a roztřepeným středem, můžete je bez obav stříhat do váz, protože k řezu jsou jako stvořené. Květy také velmi spolehlivě přilákají včely a další opylovače. Po odkvětu je klíčové nechat zelené listy přirozeně zežloutnout a zaschnout. Rostlina si z nich totiž stahuje zpět důležité živiny do cibule pro příští rok. Narcis je mrazuvzdorná trvalka, která bez problémů zvládne zimu s teplotami až do -34 °C, takže nevyžaduje žádné speciální zazimování. Navíc vás potěší svou vynikající odolností, netrpí na žádné choroby a její pěstování je tak čistou radostí.
