Pěstování narcisu Pink Blush je ideální volbou i pro úplné začátečníky, protože tato rostlina neklade na pěstitele žádné přehnané nároky. Základem úspěchu je správné načasování a výběr stanoviště. Cibule se sází během podzimních měsíců, konkrétně v září, říjnu nebo listopadu, kdy už půda není po létě příliš horká. Než cibule reálně vložíte do země, je důležité je skladovat na suchém, chladném a temném místě, aby nezačaly předčasně rašit nebo naopak nevyschly. Vyberte pro ně slunné nebo polostinné stanoviště s propustnou a dostatečně humózní půdou. Tím zajistíte ideální podmínky pro jarní vývoj.
Samotná výsadba je velmi jednoduchá. Připravte si jamky hluboké 10 až 15 centimetrů a cibule do nich vkládejte vždy špičkou nahoru. Vzhledem k tomu, že se jedná o největší dostupnou velikost cibulí, můžete očekávat silné a vitální rostliny. Dodržujte doporučený spon 10 až 15 centimetrů mezi jednotlivými cibulemi. Pokud plánujete plošnou výsadbu, počítejte se spotřebou zhruba 40 až 60 kusů na metr čtvereční, což na jaře vytvoří nádherně zapojený porost. Po zasazení půdu jemně přitlačte a dopřejte rostlinám mírnou zálivku, aby cibule mohly do příchodu prvních mrazů bezpečně zakořenit.
Na jaře, typicky od března do května, se můžete těšit na květy v nádherných odstínech broskvové, meruňkové a pastelově růžové. Tyto aromatické květy nejen krásně voní a lákají opylovače, ale jsou také naprosto skvělé k řezu do jarních kytic. Během vegetační sezóny udržujte mírnou zálivku, půda by měla být vlhká, ale nikdy ne trvale přemokřená. Těžká a mokrá půda totiž zvyšuje riziko výskytu fusariové hniloby nebo šedé hniloby (Botrytis cinerea). Pravidelně také rostliny kontrolujte, a pokud byste zaznamenali nepřirozeně skvrnité listy, mohlo by jít o virus mozaiky, při kterém je nutné napadenou rostlinu raději odstranit.
Po odkvětu přichází důležitá fáze, kdy se rozhoduje o kvetení v dalším roce. Odkvetlé květy můžete opatrně odstřihnout, aby se rostlina nevysilovala tvorbou semen, ale zelené listy nechte na záhoně přirozeně zežloutnout a zaschnout. Z listů si totiž cibule stahuje veškeré živiny potřebné pro bezproblémové přezimování. Co se týče samotného zazimování, narcis Pink Blush je extrémně mrazuvzdorná trvalka, která bez potíží snese teploty padající až k -34 °C. Cibule tedy na zimu rozhodně nevykopávejte, zůstávají trvale v zemi, kde postupně zplaní a každým rokem vás budou těšit větším množstvím květů.
