Krvavec 'Pink Tanna' je vděčná a dlouhověká trvalka, která vám bude dělat radost s minimem starostí, pokud jí dopřejete správné startovací podmínky. Sazenice vysazujte na slunné nebo polostinné stanoviště, ideálně tam, kde se půda přirozeně drží vlhká. Tato rostlina totiž miluje hlinité až jílovité půdy, které nevysychají příliš rychle. Pokud máte na zahradě písčitou zeminu, určitě ji před výsadbou vylepšete pořádnou dávkou kompostu nebo kvalitní humózní zeminy, aby lépe zadržovala vodu. Při výsadbě dodržujte spon přibližně 35 až 45 cm (tedy asi 5 až 7 rostlin na metr čtvereční), což rostlinám zajistí dostatek prostoru pro jejich vzdušný růst a zároveň umožní cirkulaci vzduchu, která je důležitá jako prevence houbových chorob.
Zálivka je klíčová především v prvním roce po výsadbě a během horkých letních dnů. Krvavec je původem z vlhkých luk, takže na sucho reaguje svěšením listů a v extrémním případě může být na příliš suchých stanovištích náchylný k padlí. Pokud by se tak stalo nebo by listy po odkvětu nevypadaly pěkně, nebojte se celý trs u země seříznout. Rostlina velmi ochotně a rychle znovu obrazí svěžími zelenými listy. Jinak je to rostlina velmi zdravá a odolná, kterou netrápí běžní škůdci, takže se nemusíte bát složité chemické ochrany. Hnojení není nezbytně nutné, pokud je půda výživná, ale na jaře můžete přidat trochu kompostu nebo organického hnojiva pro podporu kvetení.
Jednou z velkých výhod této odrůdy je její vynikající mrazuvzdornost. Odolává teplotám až k -34 °C, takže nepotřebuje žádnou zimní přikrývku a spolehlivě přezimuje po celé České republice. Na podzim můžete odkvetlé stonky ostříhat, ale mnozí zahradníci je ponechávají až do jara. Suchá květenství totiž vypadají v zimní zahradě kouzelně, zvláště když je pokryje jinovatka, a poskytují úkryt drobnému hmyzu. Pokud byste chtěli krvavec pěstovat v nádobě, je to možné, ale zvolte velký a hluboký květináč s kvalitní drenáží. V nádobách zemina rychleji vysychá, proto budete muset dbát na opravdu pravidelnou a vydatnou zálivku, aby substrát zůstal stále mírně vlhký.

Krvavec Tanna přináší do zahrady neopakovatelnou lehkost a eleganci divokých luk v úhledném balení. Původní druh je typickou rostlinou vlhkých a rašelinných luk, kde jeho kořeny hledají vláhu hluboko v zemi. Tato zahradní varianta byla vyšlechtěna pro menší vzrůst, takže se svými třiceti až padesáti centimetry zapadne i do kompozic, kde by vysoké trvalky stínily. Tmavě vínové paličky květů vypadají, jako by se vznášely v prostoru nad dekorativními listy, a vytvářejí tak nádherný vizuální efekt, který oceníte zejména při pohledu zblízka.
