Aloysia, also known as lemon verbena, is a portable potted plant. It is grown primarily for the distinctive lemon scent of its leaves. In summer, it blooms with tiny white flowers. It will look good among roses and in naturally designed steppe beds, perhaps with shorter grasses.

Garden cultivars of Solidago are attractive and low-maintenance perennials bred from native North American wild species. Unlike them, however, they are not invasive and do not spread uncontrollably in flower beds. They are specially bred for cutting, and therefore are relatively tall, grow upright, and bloom profusely. For harvesting for bouquets, we can use both freshly bloomed plants and stems with buds. They last 10 days in a vase. In flower beds, they are an indispensable forage for bees. Golden Glory has bright golden-yellow flowers.

Jacob's Ladder is a native wild perennial cultivated in gardens as an ornamental plant since the 16th century. It has individual leaves arranged in a strikingly regular pattern, hence its common name Jacob's Ladder. Harvest when about a third of the flowers are open. It lasts 7 to 10 days in a vase. The 'White Pearl' cultivar has pure white flowers with yellow stamens.

A valuable garden and medicinal perennial, native to North America. The spiky flower cones are an irresistible magnet for butterflies. They last 7–10 days in a vase. After the petals are picked, the stems with the central cones can be dried or used in fresh bouquets as an interesting element. White Swan blooms with milky white flowers with brown-orange centers. The petals are not spread out completely horizontally; they bend slightly downwards.

Delicate, decorative, long-lived shade-loving perennials with pinnate leaves and magnificent feathery inflorescences. They originate primarily from East Asia, but also from eastern North America. They are most effective in large-scale plantings. Due to their relatively late sprouting, it's good to combine them with early-flowering bulbs. They last 4–10 days in a vase. Harvest when half of the inflorescence is in bloom. They are very sensitive to ethylene released from ripening fruit. Europa flowers light pink.

The flowers resemble wild roses, but are slightly smaller. The small, spherical rose hips are fresh red on long, upright, almost thornless shoots. They have perfect vase life. The leaves are dull green.

Mai Tai začíná nakvétat v broskvových tónech s růžovým nádechem a později přechází do tlumenějších pastelových tónů. Kvete velmi bujně s velkou násadou květů. Mai Tai byl vyšlechtěn v USA roce 2005.
