Bazalka Magic Mountain k vám dorazí jako krásně vzrostlá sazenice, která je plně připravena na přesun na své trvalé stanoviště. Protože je to rostlina původem z tropů a absolutně nesnáší mráz, s výsadbou ven určitě počkejte až na druhou polovinu května, kdy už nehrozí ranní mrazíky. Vyberte pro ni co nejvíce slunné a před větrem chráněné místo. Půda by měla být výživná, bohatá na humus a hlavně dobře propustná. Jak už možná víte, příliš mokré a těžké jílovité půdy nejsou vhodné, kořeny v nich nemohou dýchat a rostlina by strádala. Jelikož tento kultivar dorůstá do úctyhodné výšky čtyřiceti až osmdesáti centimetrů, dodržujte při výsadbě do záhonu spon kolem padesáti centimetrů. To odpovídá zhruba čtyřem až šesti rostlinám na metr čtvereční, což zajistí dostatečnou cirkulaci vzduchu.
Tato bazalka je naprosto ideální pro pěstování v prostorných nádobách nebo truhlících na balkonech a terasách. Pokud se rozhodnete pro květináč, nezapomeňte na dno umístit drenážní vrstvu a použijte kvalitní propustný substrát. Zálivku vyžaduje pravidelnou, půda by měla být stále mírně vlhká, ale nikdy ne trvale přemokřená. V horkých letních dnech bude rostlina v nádobě potřebovat zalévat častěji než ta v záhonu.
